Lee and his team were very accommodating and they provides an excellent service. A thorough vehicle handover, includes all the comforts you'll need for bit off and on grid camping. Has a 180cm bed so suitable for taller people as well. The campercab provided us with a safe bade between hikes in the Peak District, and my dog and I slept perfectly well in it. Would highly recommend Lee and his campercabs. They even gave me an extra day with the campercab to enjoy the long Bank Holiday AND dropped me off at the train station when I had returned the vehicle. Aprile 2025

I took Shard to a music festival and it was great! Very comfy and easy to use bed- which, for me, was the most important thing. The handover from Lee was good but I forgot most of it by the time got on site - so I recommend you film him or make notes. But all in all, a great experience and highly recommended. Luglio 2024

We really enjoyed out time in "Shard" and took it all the way to the Isle of Skye and back. It never let us down, and we were grateful for it during the rather heavy rain we had during our first week. That's Scotland. Our small only comment would be that the passenger "fly" seat in the front cabin, wasn't very comfortable for our (longer than usual) road time. My wife moved to the back passenger area eventually. Other than that small note, I highly recommend Lee's taxi vans. Settembre 2023

The Big Ben camper was great fun to travel around in. Being a converted taxi we got some interesting looks and comments which all added to the fun of the trip. Lee and Craig were very easy to deal with and made the pick up and drop off very easy and explained all the features on the camper clearly. My mate and I had a great time in Devon in Big Ben Luglio 2023

I had a fabulous time. The Campercab is practical and comfortable. It was nice to rent something a little bit special and quirky. A conversation piece at campsites! The bed is comfortable and there was loads of room for friends to sit and play cards and have a drink with the disco light on! It was so easy to drive. Luglio 2023

From my initial contact onwards, I received prompt, clear and friendly service at all times. I used their converted taxi for a motor racing festival - it was absolutely perfect. I’d highly recommend hiring it - perfect for a staycation. I’m already looking forward to hiring one of their vehicles again for the British Grand Prix in 2022 (and maybe also a staycation) - the van, and it’s standalone awning, will be absolutely perfect for it. 👍🏻 Settembre 2021

Would definitely recommend this van! Some friends and I were the first people to hire it and brought it to a festival about a 4-hr drive from London. Lee and Craig have put a lot of effort into converting the van into a camper and it has everything you would need for a festival. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the party lights inside the cabin are a nice touch. Was able to cook bacon sandwiches on the hot-plate, heat up pre-cooked food in the microwave, clean pots etc in the sink and keep beers and milk cool in the fridge and additional cooler. As we were the first people to use it, there were a handful of little teething problems (mainly that we weren't warned about not using particular plug sockets which drained the engine battery and needed to be jump started) but I talked through these little things when returning the van to the guys and have no doubt they'll have it completely sorted out for the next booking. Just make sure you're completely clear on how everything works. Lee and Craig were really responsive over the weekend whenever we had an issue or questions, so we appreciated that. A word of warning if you're from outside the UK: The insurer that Goboony link to directly, Dayinsurer, don't offer rental insurance unless you have a UK licence (as of August 2021) - which meant a friend of mine had to drive instead of me. It's an issue with Goboony, not this specific van, but I wish someone had warned me about this. It proved impossible to find another insurer after a fair bit of searching and Goboony weren't much help. Anyway, back to the van. Overall I would recommend it as a fun way to travel with loads of handy facilities. Agosto 2021
