This was my first time hiring or driving a van by myself and I was very nervous. LUX made the whole experience a joy from start to finish. I was encouraged, helped, kept informed and generally guided the whole way. I know most people don’t need that but I found it invaluable. They were particularly good at communicating once I was on my trip when I had questions and were very enthusiastic about the whole thing. The van itself was great. Everyone I met commented on how nice it was and were particularly jealous of the ‘Scotland in winter-friendly’ tyres. The inside of the van was immaculate. It was really cosy with the sparkly ceiling lights and diesel heater (which I learnt doesn’t run off the battery so you can run it all night..) The outside temperatures were down to -15 at night and the van coped really well. Driving the van was easy once I got used to the height. The steering is really light and it’s super economical. I couldn’t believe how little fuel I had to put in. Overall I had a great time and the combination of access to beautiful parts of Scotland/changing location every day and warmth and safety was perfect. The van is listed as dog friendly but that doesn’t remotely cover how much fun it was to travel with my (now quite old)dog and how much she loved it. I will treasure these memories for ever. I can’t recommend LUX highly enough. The whole process was smooth and easy and I’ll definitely be hiring from them again. Marzo 2023

Archie is Awesome! It’s the camper I wish I could afford to own. We used it primarily as a tour bus for a family Scottish tour (including our dog). I can’t believe how economical and fun to drive it was (nothing like other campers I’ve experienced). Immaculate inside and out and a very comfy place to be both in the front and back. The owners were super communicative and very chilled to deal with. Cannot recommend this camper enough, don’t hesitate in booking. Agosto 2022
