We hired Danny to attend a music festival and Hugh was super accommodating and flexible. Handovers were smooth, Danny was the perfect van, Hugh the perfect host. We had everything we needed - the solar panels kept the fridge super cold over a very hot few days off-grid. Hugh said to enjoy Danny as if he were our own and we did. I have no hesitation in recommending Danny and Hugh! Agosto 2025

We had a great trip with Danny. The bed was very comfortable for two of us. The roof box turned out to be essential - we had a fair amount of luggage as we had an eleven day trip, and it would have just been in the way without the ability to get up on the roof and switch in fresh clothes for old etc. Hugh is a very chilled owner and easy to get on with. Hugh was an excellent camper host, he was really helpful, relaxed and reassuring. Danny was a wonderful camper, compact but had everything you need and we had a lovely couple of days exploring (2 adults and a dog). Thank you for letting us enjoy Danny de Vito and we kept to the rules, treated him as our own and enjoyed to the max. Thanks Hugh for making it so easy, with clear explanations of how Danny worked and answering any further questions we had really quickly. We had a lovely time. I had a fab time road tripping around Scotland in Danny de Vito the van for a couple of weeks with my dog. The van had everything we needed in it - it was great to be able to pull up and make a cuppa next to a beach and the van was so comfortable to sleep in. Hugh was very helpful and relaxed, and it felt like he genuinely just wanted as many people to enjoy the van as possible. I would definitely book again if I was doing something similar again. Had an amazing time in Cornwall in Danny de Vito. Great layout for tucking away the bed and being able to cook inside on bad weather. Linen provided was a massive help. Easy as handover and instructions given before trip and simple drop off Settembre 2024

I did a 16 day rental in July '24 and thoroughly enjoyed it. As a first time driver in the UK from USA, I found the van easy to drive and easy to park. Personally I wouldn't want to drive anything much larger than this on those tiny roads with no shoulders. This van was very well appointed with extras such as camp chairs, camp games, etc. I was travelling alone so I didn't get to make use of many of the extras but could see it would be a lot of fun for a couple. I wouldn't want to spend a LONG trip in this van with another person as you would be pretty tight on space. For a single it was perfect. The biggest additions I would add would be something to help battle the lovely English weather (RAIN). An extra with sides on it would be a huge bonus to this rental, and perhaps a center pole for the awning. Overall I was extremely happy with this rental and found it a good value. Agosto 2024
