The handover was very straightforward with good communications and Dominic was helpful enough to bring forward the pick up to match my changed itinerary. I traveled for 10 weeks around the whole of Scotland to complete 130 Munros. I generally stayed at caravan parks but also mixed it up with some wild sites and hostel. The van provided great flexibility and was exactly what I needed. Settembre 2025

We hired Dominic’s van for a 10 day trip around the Western Isles. Dominic was easy to communicate with and gave us a good handover and highlighted how to operate the van. We found the van easy to drive, mechanically sound and economical on fuel. The bedding and linen provided was warm and clean. However, We found the interior to be cramped, outdated and the kitchen area was a let down. The battery electrics were unreliable so the fridge did not work at times. Though the van had quirky charm, it felt more like an ‘old lady’ past her prime. For the price we expected much better. It was overpriced for the condition and minimal camping functionality. We had a great experience and such a memorable trip with FreeDom. Dom was really friendly and very easy to communicate with from the get go. The van obvs has gone through a good amount of journeys but we found it to be very reliable and easy to drive. You have plenty of space for two people, lots of storage space and all the camping essentials. It was our first time doing NC500 and it was one of the best trips we’ve ever had - thanks to Dom and FreeDom. Would recommend to anyone! Settembre 2024

Hi! We rented the FreeDom for some days in the Highlands. It was our first experience with a campervan and it was really great, and all thanks to FreeDom and Dominic. The van is in really good state, with all the supliers needed for a proper camping and great autonomy and strength. Also, Dominic was a really great guy. He helped in all out questions and was very compreehensive. He answered very fast, which is a very important point. I cant imagine a better guest than Dominic. I would definetly repeat with him next time I will visit Scotland and with no doubt recomend them (FreeDom and Dominic) to my friends. Such a great experience with such a great person and van. Thanks again Dominic! PS: Please, dont forget to add a flower Sticker with our names (Ugaitz & Mikel) to the Freedom. We didnt find stickers anywhere! We had FreeDom for 12 days, travelling around the far northwest corner of Scotland. Much of the time we were on the NC500 but we also explored the smaller (quieter) roads between Durness and Ullapool. FreeDom is a small van, hence perfectly suited for two persons to travel on the more remote roads that larger vans and motorhomes cannot access. The van is fairly old, but in excellent condition. Mechanically it is solid and robust (unlike some newer vehicles). It was easy to drive and manoeuvre. Once the roof extension was put up there was plenty of room inside. This extension was easy to lift into position and then pack away each morning. We mostly cooked outside, but there was space to do so inside when it was wet or windy. The bed was very easy to erect each night and extremely comfortable. Dominic responded to any questions quickly, usually within minutes. He was extremely helpful and bent over backwards to ensure that we had a great adventure Giugno 2023
