The perfect trip in the perfect van! Everything from the point of booking, all the way to dropping off the van at the end of the trip was nothing short of amazing. Ruaridh was very helpful in the lead up to the trip and gave us help on arrival too. The van itself was amazing. Everything we needed and more. Drove really well (we did nearly 1000 miles!!!), fully fitted to not have to eat out, comfy bed and set up was perfect. Ruaridh even helped us remotely when we couldn’t get the heating to work, very helpful. Would highly recommend Ruaridh and the van to anyone else interested in driving the NC500! The communication with Ruaridh was perfect. He helped us through the processes needed for insurance, and always replied within the same day. Next to that we received many tips. Tips for the holiday, for driving and for the camper. Also during the trip he replied really fast. Next to that he's a very friendly guy! The van itself is great. We received many compliments, because its a classic. It has everything you need, and nothing you don't. We cooked every night in the van, and slept like roses. Because its not a standard rental, it felt like "our own" right away, which made the amazing vacation even more special. Settembre 2026

We spent a week's holiday in this campervan, and it took us to the most beautiful places in the Highlands. It's perfect for these kinds of roads. The campervan has everything you need for eating and sleeping. Ruaridh was very kind and helpful, assisting us with everything we needed, both before and during the trip. We had the pleasure of taking Thermos up to the Orkney Islands and across the west coast for 10 days in July 2026. We couldn't have dreamt of a better experience. The van was a joy to drive and easy to operate thanks to Ruaridh's thoughtful design and thorough walk-through of how it all works. Ruaridh also kindly gave us tips and suggestions about our route and was flexible helping us manage some timing trouble with pick up and drop off. This is a stellar combination of a great van and genuine, considerate owner that we absolutely recommend for anyone looking to hire a camper in the north of Scotland. If we could give me than 5 stars we would. Not only does Ruaridh have the most beautiful campervan and gives an incredibly helpful handover, he is just a really nice guy. We hired Ruaridh's campervan for our honeymoon to do the NC500. He went above and beyond to make it the most perfect trip for us including leaving us a bottle of wine in the campervan fridge and giving us a gift to take away with us. Ruaridh has kitted out the campervan with everything you could need and it is perfect for the most stunning holiday in the Scottish Highlands. Through no fault of the vehicle we got a puncture and Ruaridh kindly drove over an hour to meet us so that we did not have to continue our journey with the spare tyre. I could not recommend Ruaridh and his campervan enough! Ottobre 2025
