I rented Robert's van for a 17 day trip around Scotland and it was an excellent choice! It's not too large for the single track roads and hairpin turns on the NC 500 and Isle of Skye and everything is easy to set up for the night too. The diesel heater was great on some really cold windy nights, but do note it shuts off after about an hour to conserve fuel. Robert provided bedding, towels, cookware, salt, pepper, sugar, tea, camp chairs, an extra camp table, full water tank and LPG tank for cooking. There are wheel chocks/levelers too. The leisure battery keeps the fridge and interior lights when not driving or plugged in at a campsite, so wild camping is an option! (BYO chem toilet) Robert provided really helpful short videos of how to use different features on the van, just make sure to review them where you have wifi or good cell signal. He makes handover and return really easy and renting from him is an excellent choice! I had the roadtrip of a lifetime!

Had a fabulous time with my 5yr old daughter in Robert’s van. Handover was smooth and Robert provided me with various WhatsApp videos walking through key items eg how to pop the roof, operate the diesel heater and operate the sliding bed. This trip was two-fold: spend time on an adventure with my daughter for half-term; and, a dry run to help decide whether or not to get our own van. Robert’s helped hit both items in my brief!

Robert was great. Very accommodating about pick up and drop off times and sent us lots of videos to help set things up in the van. Couldn’t have been more helpful - also during our trip when we had a couple of questions, he went out of his way to reassure us. We went up to John O’Groats stopping en route and on the way back down. The van went like a dream and was great to drive. Surprisingly roomy and exactly what we were looking for. Easy to set up and comfy for our few nights away. We hope to borrow it again for our next trip north.

We had a fantastic time in this motorhome exploring Scotland. We definitely would recommend it to anyone doing all or part of the NC500. Rob was fantastic in showing us how everything works and was great in terms of our last minute timing. Thank you!!!

What a wonderful experience! The Van met all our needs. We comfortably slept four. Loved the automatic transmission and very quick performance. Rob was really cool to work with and very gracious. Will definitely look to rent again with Rob as the camper-van is the best way to see and experience Scotland.

The van is very comfortable and with a lot of space. Rob is just the best van owner ever! He has been incredibly helpful and he supported me all the time I need during the trip to the Highlands. I would recommend this van.
