I have hired camper vans in the past in both Australia and New Zealand but this was a first in our homeland and the test to see if would invest in one of our own. We travelled up to Scotland for our two week trip and Simon's van didn't let us down. The van itself it easy to drive, especially around the narrow roads on the Scottish highlands. As avid campers we have a lot of kit accumulated over the years so although Simon had provided the basics we left this behind in favour of using our own. The stove and sink were easy to use, although no hot water to wash up in the sink, easily remedied with a kettle full of water for squeaky clean plates etc. The fridge/freezer is very small but kept a couple of our pre-cooked meals frozen, and beer cool. The pop up roof was very useful for the added storage space when parked up and the extra head room, although it did make for some cooler nights when it was left up over night (we were in Scotland though so to be anticipated). The rock and roll bed was easy to take down and put back up however there were some age related signs of wear and tear. Although comfortable enough, our backs were feeling it after 2 weeks so a topper/therma-rest might be a good shout if you want a bit of added comfort. Simon was very responsive to our initial enquiry and was contactable through-out our trip. Covering so many miles (2200) meant that we topped up the oil, which was already in the van. Overall it was a great trip and a comfortable van to spend it in. We're convinced - the van to buy search has begun! Novembre 2020

This was my first experience of using a motor home, and I absolutely loved it. I was very impressed with the website, and Simon who was quick to respond to my queries. We took the van from Bristol to Snowdonia for 4 nights. The van itself was easy to drive and manoeuvre, and was very fuel efficient. The van was equipped with everything we needed. The pop up roof was very easy to use, and provided a huge additional storage space (whilst there were only 2 of us using the van, I can see how this space could easily be used as additional beds for children to sleep in). The rock and roll bed was easy to pull out and put away, and perfectly comfortable to sleep on. The kitchen equipment (gas stove and sink) were also very easy to use, and Simon provided us with gas and water to make our trip even easier. The exterior of the van didn't quite fit our expectations - as it has experienced quite a bit of wear and tear, which doesn't appear in the advert photos. This is understandable considering how many people must have rented it over the years. That being said, this obviously doesn't affect the use of the van, and didn't affect our trip in any way. As a host, I was impressed with Simon who seemed very laid back and approachable. He gave us a tour of the van when we collected it, and reassured us that we could contact him any time with any issues. I thoroughly enjoyed my trip and will definitely consider hiring Simon's van again. Settembre 2020

Although I spent a lot of my childhood travelling in Campervan’s with my parents. This was the first time I have hired a campervan and I can honestly say that the experience was amazing. Simon was helpful from first contact and provided all the information that we needed. We did have a few issues but Simon was responsive and helped us resolve them quickly and easily. I would definitely recommend this van, it’s great value for money and drives like a dream. Simon also provided an added awning at no extra costs which was so useful given the weather did take a turn For the worse. Great experience, would highly recommend. Agosto 2020

She's a lovable beast the big red! She's loud up a slope but she gets to the top every time. Pretty basic setup but that's reflected in the hire price. All in all a great van for our first camper holiday. Simon was very helpful and always available when needed. Agosto 2020
