Our recent travel experience was fantastic! James provided great service from start to finish, and we really appreciated him going the extra mile to arrange all the sleeping equipment for us. The handover was seamless, he thoroughly explained how to use the car and all its features. The van itself was clean and in very good condition. Novembre 2025

The vehicle was nice and the perfect size for our 2 week road trip through Scotland. Being only 2 we really enjoyed it but I don't think it would of manageable with 3 or 4 people, however. Additional Details to consider: Handover and return: we received and returned the vehicle to a friend of the owners. He did not do a walk through, discuss or show us how things worked, and refused to do a review upon returning the vehicle. There were 2 instructional videos that gave some info but it was very limited. This is something to consider if you are not well accustomed to campervans. Deposit: it's unclear why but once our trip ended James stopped communicating with us and held our security deposit. We can't understand what the reason was for this but it resulted in us needing to contact customer support through Gaboony and it taking nearly 6 weeks to have our deposit refunded to us(we had no charges). James made the process really simple and was flexible during the handovers. We had an amazing time in the van! It was well equipped with everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable trip. We loved driving the van and the features like the parking camera and Bluetooth made it an easy transition from our regular vehicles. Aprile 2025

Loved this little adventure with James’s camper. The handover was super easy. James was an excellent communicator and answered my silly questions quickly and simply. This camper was the perfect size for a trip down Scotland’s tiny roads and allowed us to fit in normal car parks while being big enough to fit our family of 4. Would highly recommend this van! My experience with James camping-car was problem free really, don't hesiste to rent to him. James was so flexible for check-in and for check-out, which I appreciated so much ! I went to so many places (Glencoe, Glenfinan, Nest Point, Inverness, Culloden, etc) for 5 days, and everything went very well, it was amazing ! I had zero issue during my trip and James was very easily reachable when I had technical questions regarding the water waste or the heating (his patience is limitless, believe me ! well I didn't find his limit even though I kept asking him questions !) You won't be disappointed trust me :) Dicembre 2024

We had a wonderful trip in the van. It was in great working order, nice to drive and came with all the essentials for camping. James was super helpful, flexible and easy to communicate with. He kindly provided bedding for us as we didnt have much luggage allowance on our flight. Our kids absolutely loved sleeping in the roof. We would recommend Fidden Farm on Mull, for a few nights stop. We had an amazing time in Scotland with the van, it was very fuel-efficient as mentioned earlier in the comments and easy to make it comfortable. We needed to turn the heater on at some times but the battery never got dead. The communication with Jamie was smooth and he was very flexible with our schedule which we really appreciated. This was the perfect van for our road trip. It was packed full of the necessities we needed. This van had the advantage of having a parking camera and Apple car play which made life so much easier. James was a pleasure to work with. Thanks for everything mate Novembre 2023

Jamie’s van was very luxurious. Brand new so it had all the latest bells & whistles and a full professional fitout. We found it to be very fuel efficient also - we got all the way to Skye and back on one tank. It was very comfortable for our trip, and Jamie had clearly gone out of his way to make it pretty nice with good quality knives, a mokka pot etc. Highly recommended! Agosto 2023
