Prior to collection Paul sent a very useful video illustrating how to set up the van which helped the actual handover. The whole process of hiring was efficient, Paul was flexible on collection and return times enabling arrival at the camp site while the sun was still out. Barney is a quality camper van conversion in first class condition which I can recommend. Novembre 2024

Just returned from a great 3 night trip to North Berwick with husband and daughter. 'Barney' the campervan was very clean and well equipped with everything you need. The mattress topper provided for the lower bed made it very comfortable! Paul was easy to communicate with and flexible with the return time. He provided recommendations for campsites and pre-trip information about how everything worked in the campervan. Highly recommended! Luglio 2024

I recently had the pleasure of renting 'Barney' for a long weekend getaway with my family (2 adults and our 4-year-old). Let me just say, this experience exceeded all expectations. From the moment we laid eyes on the campervan, it was evident that we were in for something special. The modern and sleek design of the VW Transporter instantly caught our attention as did the subtle but unique colour. The fact that it was very new added an extra layer of excitement to our adventure. One of the standout features of this campervan was its impeccable attention to detail in terms of functionality and comfort. The beds were an absolute dream – I can't remember the last time I slept so soundly on a trip. The comfort of the beds truly made a world of difference, ensuring that each morning we woke up rejuvenated and ready for a day of exploration. What truly impressed us was how well the campervan was equipped to accommodate our family's needs - and the little touches by the host added something extra. The interior was thoughtfully designed to optimize space without ever feeling cramped. When the bed was folded away, there was an abundance of room for us to move around comfortably. And when the bed was down, it was like a cozy oasis where we could all rest peacefully. Speaking of space, the additional sleeping area in the roof was an absolute game-changer. Our little one was thrilled to have their own special spot which she quickly swapped for the "extra comfy" double bed and sent her dad upstairs. The ingenious use of space throughout the campervan was truly a testament to its smart design. Driving the VW Transporter was an absolute delight. The smooth handling and responsive controls made driving a breeze, even on winding roads. It was apparent that this campervan was not only designed with comfort in mind but also with ease of use. The temperature control within the campervan was another highlight. It managed to strike the perfect balance between warmth and fresh air, ensuring a comfortable environment regardless of the weather outside. No stuffiness – just pure relaxation. In conclusion, I can't recommend 'Barney' enough. It was our first time in a camper van and it provided us with an unforgettable experience that catered to both the practical aspects of traveling as a family and the desire for a comfortable, enjoyable getaway. If you're looking for a modern, well-equipped, and incredibly comfortable campervan for your next adventure, this campervan is a gem that will elevate your journey to a whole new level. Myself and my partner had a fantastic few days driving around the Scottish Highlands in Barney. The camper van is incredible and finished to such a high standard with everything you need for off grid living or staying on a camp site. Paul is a brilliant owner and great to communicate with and was also very accommodating to our extra requests.
