We really enjoyed out short weekend trip into North Wales in Vera. It was our first time in a campervan but I found Vera easy to drive and it felt like a good balance between driveability and living space, which was ample for the two of us and our collie dog. John was flexible with pick up and drop-off times which worked well for me and the handover was excellent - covering all essential information and when there was a snag, John was immediately available on the phone to help sort it out. Worth a mention is the diesel heater which I thought was impressive...I needn't have worried about getting cold at night. John and Jane have clearly put a lot of thought into kitting out Vera as it was well equipped and we were wanting for nothing. I'd happily hire Vera again and would recommend to friends. We had a good time hiring vera, had couple of issues which you might expect in an older van, but John was quick to respond and offer assistance. John and Jane were flexiable with pick up and drop off times and vera was very comfy and well equipped. Ottobre 2025

Great experience booking Johns van. The van was equipped with everything we could have needed and was perfect for our break in the Lakes, especially using the awning for extra space. John was a great host and took time to explain everything to us before we set off. Thanks! Agosto 2025

My girls and I had a great weekend in Vera.! The handover was very easy and John explained everything about the van to this first timer. It was easy to drive and well kitted out..John & his wife I have thought about all of the little details! I had query whilst away and John responded very quickly. Would highly recommend! Luglio 2025

John (and Jane) are those rare Saints for travellers. So much heart and care. I travelled right around Wales, and the van was the perfect size for parking up in all sorts of places without making an unwanted statement. When I picked it up, John had already made sure there was coffee, a sleeping bag and a mattress cover. Coffee was had in the most amazing places, all staring out from the van doors. The van was really efficient, ran like a dream and the little galley kitchen got daily use (you can pick-up fish all along the coast - buy it fresh, cook it fresh!). John has sockets for all different devices, water with pump for the sink, chairs, tables, fridge, gas stove. I honestly couldn't think of any other needs to add to the feed back book Jane left for me. I'll be back. Can't recommend highly enough. Luglio 2025
