Arti is een fantastische camper. Het was voor ons de eerste keer dat we met een camper op reis gingen en dat met het stuur rechts en schakelen links. De camper is zeer handelbaar en inderdaad 100% offgrid. Je kunt makkelijk een paar dagen leven op de accu's en het zonnepaneel. De inrichting is ook logisch, alles ligt opde juiste plek. Hij is prima voor zijn tweeën maar met zijn drieën is hij volgens ons te klein. Echt ern annrader Giugno 2025

As for 3 people in it, it's certainly cosy :) We had a family of 3 rent before (review below - Anthony) and I've travelled with my wife and sister and with two old school friends for a week but you'd definitely want to be very comfortable with your travel companions, I agree! It's pretty comical having close-quarters, adult-sleepovers Haha. Hope to see you guys again one day and Caroline - love your ceramics on Insta! Thank you for sharing.

WOW! What an incredible trip! This was our first time renting a motorhome and it couldn’t have gone smoother. We couldn’t recommend Ian and his van anymore, his service and communication was impeccable making everything very easy. Non posso che consigliare vivamente di prenotare Art! Siamo appena tornati da una delle settimane più belle della nostra vita! Il furgone è davvero ben progettato e facile da usare, è lo spazio perfetto per un'avventura scozzese (o più lontano). È luminoso e arioso, ma super accogliente la sera, con un riscaldamento molto efficiente, se necessario. La cucina ha tutto il necessario per preparare tutti i pasti e il letto è davvero comodo. Il mio ragazzo ha detto che è un furgone fantastico da guidare. La cabina è davvero comoda e spaziosa, con un caricabatterie/adattatore radio Bluetooth per ascoltare la tua musica (o una selezione molto eclettica di CD). È anche incredibilmente efficiente nei consumi: abbiamo fatto il pieno solo una volta a settimana e siamo andati a Lewis, Harris e Skye! Ian e Raji sono stati più che fantastici e hanno persino riempito il frigo di birre per il compleanno del mio ragazzo! Sono stati incredibilmente comunicativi durante tutta la prenotazione e davvero disponibili e pazienti quando abbiamo avuto un problema con la patente, cosa di cui gli sono davvero grata. Potrei continuare a blaterare per ore su quanto è stata fantastica l'esperienza; consiglierò Art, Ian e Raji a chiunque incontrerò nel prossimo futuro!!! I think we (you!) did an amazing job of keeping it secret and James was clearly buzzing, "literally, the best week of my life". Raji and I get so much joy from meeting and hearing about the trips of everyone who keeps Art singing through the Highlands and Islands so thank you for renting from us, thank you for the good energy and chats and let us know if you're back this way. Art is an excellent van. Great to drive and very comfortable. We slept great with the comfy bedding, bedding, and light out curtains provided. Van was very clean and organized. The van came with everything we needed to make meals and have a great time. We hit some very rainy weather and we stayed dry and warm in Art with the great heater. Ian was very communicative and warm and friendly. He made picking up and dropping off the van very easy. He took time to show us all the ins and outs of the van to make sure we had a great time. He helped us make a plan and was super with helping us by answering questions about van camping in Scotland We loved our experience and highly recommend art the van and Ian to everyone. Maggio 2025

As they say in Scotland' "it was blowing a Hooley!" You got the full Scottish blasting, but that's really when Art actually comes into his own ... He's unbelievable to come back to from those days lol and nice to wait out the storm too so glad you felt the same. It was really lovely to meet you guys and thank you for looking after Art so well - returned in god condition, all comms were easy and never felt like work. Generally good experience with you guys all round and nice to get to know you a bit in the way to the airport drop-off too :) Look forward to meeting you guys again in Colorado, so thank you for the invite! We'll be in your doorstep before you can say, 'We saw a field of cabbages'.

Had an amazing time on the NC 500. Ian was super helpful and gave us a proper run down in the van. Art took us all round with no problems tackling some of the littler roads with easy. Super warm to come back too. Maggio 2025

We hired Art for a week-long adventure through Skye and Harris, and had a great time! The van was comfortable, spacious, and equipped with everything we needed for cooking, sleeping, and storage. The medium wheelbase made it easy to drive too. The separate storage area under the bed was good to have. It (just!) fit our two mountain bikes and was great for keeping our bikes, helmets, and gear organised and out of the way. Ian was fantastic—he gave us a thorough walkthrough of the van before we set off and even checked in during our trip to make sure everything was going smoothly. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend Art for anyone looking for the perfect adventure van! Settembre 2024

Ian is one of the kindest and coolest humans we've had the pleasure of meeting/renting from over the years! He was extremely responsive and answered our (millions, ha!) of questions before the trip + provided some awesome food and hiking/adventuring reccos - we absolutely loved Culture Cafe in Inverness! Handoff was easy, and Ian was timely/responsive. We had such a lovely experience overall in the van. The kitchen was perfect and had everything we needed for our 10 day roadtrip (we cooked from scratch almost every meal), plus the bed and other amenities in the van were so comfy. We took the van about 750+ miles and everything was very smooth plus Ian was avail at all times if we had questions pop up during the trip. We did the entire NC500 with some added coastline and a visit to the Isle of Skye. More info below! Some campsites we enjoyed: - Wick River (easily walk to Wick) - Shieldaig (family owned, nice location) - Port o Bhaig - Portree Campsite was easy for Isle of Skye (could walk into town from the camp) An absolutely stunning hike with views: - Stac Pollaidh - The Quiraing (the weather didn't permit this hike but it was unreal to see even from the start of it) - The Old man of Storr (go early before others) A must try food spot: - Shorehouse Restaurant in Tarbet/Lairg - on a really windy/small road that takes you to the end of a port/bay that feels like you are in a movie! Some stops we loved in good weather: - Castle Sinclair (walk far to the right over the hill away from the castle, found some great sea stacks with epic views, no one around or any other tourists in sight!) - Duncansby Stacks - Strathy Beach (jumped in the water in August!) Achmelvich Bay would have been good too but we didn't get lucky with the weather that day - Whaligoe Steps - Latheronwheel Harbour and bridge - Thurso (wish we could have walked around more here) Agosto 2024

Awesome you really used the van to it's full, staying off grid, cooking loads and adventuring from there. Great recommendations above and thank you for the photo you took of me too. My husband Benji and I had the BEST time discovering the North Coast 500 with "Art". The van had everything we needed and was absolutely comfortable and cozy inside! Due to the perfect size of the van we discovered the most beautiful spots to stay for the night and had a great time overall! Ian was extremely kind and explained everything we needed to know, so we had an easy time figuring everything out. We loved our trip and would definitely wanna travel with "Art" a second time! A week away on the west coast of Scotland with my 10 year old son, an absolute brilliant week, and an amazing experience for my little boy. The stunning views and places we visited were truly stunning. We started at Fort William and headed over to the isle of sky. My boy’s favourite 2 things he said he loved doing was seeing the fairy pools, jumping in the pools and seeing the amazing waterfalls. wilding camping was such an experience for us both. Waking up and opening the motorhomes door to the most beautiful views. Such calm waters, sat with a coffee and truly relaxing. The motorhome was absolutely superb, it had everything we needed, it was like a home from home. We made great dinners in there and sat and chilled when the weather wasn’t too great. It truly made our holiday very special and I made great memories with my little boy. Memories we will both treasure for life. 😍. I truly recommend this to anyone. It just takes your mind of your busy lifestyles. I would like to thank Ian and his partner Raj for letting us taking Art on this amazing adventure. And would definitely be doing it again! Or I may have one of my own very soon! 😊. Thank you once again. Luglio 2024
