Excellent experience with Rich and Tarquin the van. We had a clear handover and a great weekend away. The van is fitted with everything you might need and even when chilly overnight we were more than warm enough with the heater. Dicembre 2025

We loved our couple of days away in Tarquin. It was easy to drive and park. It had everything we needed, the bed was so comfortable and we were warm even in November. Communication with Rich was easy, and the whole process was smooth and transparent. Would definitely hire again! Novembre 2025

Thank you Rich, we had an absolutely fantastic first campervan trip as a family of 3. Rich had the van ready for our arrival with the pop top up to give us a full tour and demonstration of all the equipment and features of the van. We left confident we could have a relaxed and easy trip away. There were so many lovely touches and everything we needed for our trip inc. tea, coffee & the most delicious hot chocolate which my daughter enjoyed while sat in the pop top enjoying the view. Everything worked perfectly and Tarquin’s manual had clear instructions for anything we’d forgotten or were unsure of. Would highly recommend for anyone, especially those with young kids! We had a brilliant experience from the initial enquiry to handing Tarquin back. None of us had been to Cornwall before and the three of us travelled from Shetland. Rich's communication, local knowledge and advice eased any concerns and made our holiday all the more enjoyable. Complementary G&T was welcome :) We squeezed a lot into our short visit - seeing Chough, Peregrine, Badgers, archaeological sites, orchards and general site seeing. Henry's campsite was great and the Eden Project was inspiring. We enjoyed great food at The New Inn Manaccan, St Just and Ann's Pasties. I was a bit nervous about the campervan in the wind as Storm Alice was skirting Cornwall but everything was fine. Highly recommend Rich and Tarquin! Thanks for making our short break brilliant! Had a fantastic trip , Rich made the handover very straightforward and informative so we felt confident taking the Tarquin out on the road . We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend with Tarquin - such a brilliant and well-equipped campervan conversion. Rich gave a very clear and concise handover, which was coupled with extremely useful videos. Tarquin is a long wheel base van, which made a massive difference to storage and living space. I found the manoeuvrability was just as straightforward as a short wheel based van. We had a fabulous time with Tarquin last weekend. Richard was really helpful on arrival and talked us through popping the roof up, taking it back down, and everything else we needed to know as first timers in a camper. We had plenty of space to pack all our stuff out the way, and really enjoyed having a fridge for chilled beers and wine. A definite upgrade on previous camping experiences. Thanks Rich for the great support on our first trip with a campervan! Cornwall is a fantastic camping paradise with great pitches. We drove around for 14 days and are thrilled with the country and its people. We particularly liked (“insider” tips ;-): - the small beach at Tintangle Castle (for relatively secluded swimming in the last hour of opening time) - the artists' studios in St. Ives - the dune landscape north of the town of "Rock" on the Camel River - the yurts on Sarah & Rob's farm (Tremeer Farm Yurt Cornwall), where our daughter collected fresh eggs for breakfast from the chickens - the foodist scene in Padstow - the warm Jubilee Pool (Art Nouveau bath) in Pencance in the drizzle - the sumptuous cream tea in a cake stand in the St. Michaels Mount restaurant - the lively beach bar on Lusty Glaze Beach - the Cornish coastal path with descents to small dream bays - these gardens - incredibly lush - the foodist scene in Padstow We will be back definitely! Second time hiring from Rich, this time Tarquin rather than Gino. Tarquin is quite an upgrade, with considerably more space and a few extra facilities (the heater was useful on cold nights), but still easy to drive. As before, Rich was very helpful with the booking, and arranging delivery and pickup of the van. I'm looking forward to the next trip. Luglio 2024

Fantastic camper! Rich was brilliant, thorough handover and made himself available during the rental in case we had any problems. We rented the van in April, using the heater for a little while in the evening left the van cosy for the rest of the night. Everything you need for the camping experience is provided. We live in Cornwall and only have a small ( electric) car. So Gino was hired to help us revisit old haunts from when we would arrive in an old camper with 5 kids on board. And he was great. We didn’t sleep in him ( this time) but visited Padstow, Heligan Gardens, the Lizard and environs. Great to park up and just….look. It could have been better. But Gino is not responsible for the weather. Eating and drinking was strictly inside! Rich was lovely to deal with. Very helpful, relaxed and organised! We’ll be back. Marzo 2024

We had a brilliant time in Gino! We spent five days travelling in Cornwall and Gino was perfect. Very well equipped and myself, my wife our one year old son were very comfortable. Gino was great and really did meet our expectations :) He was a joy to drive and the four-wheel-drive was excellent for manoeuvring through a field. The handover was very thorough and we received a video with further instructions about the roof, which was really helpful. We really enjoyed our long weekend away in Gino and felt we had just about everything you need. The waterproof sheet and camping chairs were an added bonus too. The van is well stocked with everything you could need which is was so helpful, and was a joy to drive! Thank you Rich for a great experience using your campervan. We loved all of the detail that was inside including everything that you could need for a successful camping trip, including goodies he left us which helped with the excitement of also having small two kids with us (!) The only thing that was a little tricky was the lock situation which sometimes seem to get stuck, however, Rich was always at the end of the phone to help us sort this little problem which he mentioned he is going to have a look at soon. I rented Gino for my first Glastonbury and he looked after me really well for the weekend. He is very well equipped with all you could need including important little things like a stock of condiments, tea and coffee. The blackout works well, the solar panel keeps the leisure battery topped up, interior lighting is good, cooking and fridge/freezer all work well too. The pop up roof allows plenty of headroom and the bed is comfortable. Rich is really easy to deal with and very accommodating for pick up and drop off. I'd definitely hire again. Giugno 2023

Really great to rent Gino to serve as our home on wheels for a weekend. He gets admiring looks wherever he goes and is comfortable for longer trips. Everything practical we needed was found in the plentiful drawers and cupboards. We took him on some rough tracks at the festival we were going to and at a great campsite in Doone Valley, Devon and he didn’t miss a beat. Having a heating system meant we were warm and cosy on the one chilly night. The blackout/insulated blinds work really well at keeping the light out and warmth in. Had a really good time spending the weekend in this campervan, and found Rich very easy to work with making all the arrangements. Giugno 2022
