We knew it was older, no problem. We did not know the two front windows were not working and needed constant readjustment that required strength to slide them back up. The sliding door and the passenger front door both have faulty locks; the front will not open with the clicker, must be opened from the inside. The slider must be slammed shut or you get stuck inside necessitating a difficult crawl over the front seats to get out. The toilet had excrement in it when I cleaned it out; we NEVER defecated in it (ie wasn't cleaned from prior user). Shower curtain fell off EVERY time we used it. Faulty handle on kettle could have been dangerously disastrous...Electric stopped working after 5 days with our minimal use; we wild camped as planned but apparently van needs to be charged at an RV hookup site every few days-not clearly explained by owner. Owner complained and charged us 50 pounds for poor cleaning (I had left used linen in a pile on floor thinking this was helpful) and told us "a complete cleaning was now needed." Was that even something to be questioned between renters? Shouldn't be. So, frustrated, returned it 1 1/2 days early. Made me sad/mad, truly; as a repeat camper van renter, never had trouble like this before! Settembre 2026

Beata est très accueillante et très arrangeante ! Son van est authentique : il n’est pas parfait mais très fonctionnel. Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine avec pour découvrir les highlands écossais. C’est une première expérience pour nous qui nous a donné envie de recommencer. We had a wonderful trip in Scotland in this van. There is everything you ever wanted for in a campervan, and even more. Hot shower, lights, sockets, blankets; and everything perfectly functional. The decoration makes it very cosy. After a lot of campervan experience in Scotland, this one is definitely the best one. Ration price/quality unbeatable and Beata welcomed us as friends. I definitely recommend it. Giugno 2026
