Mi chiamo Rick e, nell'ambito del progetto Corona, ho trasformato il mio camper in un mezzo per le vacanze. Durante il mio anno all'estero in Costa Rica, ho iniziato a noleggiare il camper in modo che non prendesse polvere in un fienile. Dopo il mio ritorno, ho continuato a usarlo semplicemente perché avevo ricevuto un feedback positivo :)

NUOVO:
All'inizio del 2024 ho ampliato la mia piccola "flotta" con una roulotte pieghevole (in pratica una tenda pieghevole su un rimorchio) e ho montato un gancio di traino in modo che tre persone possano andare in vacanza in tutta tranquillità e ognuno abbia abbastanza spazio per dormire :) Non esitate a chiedermi informazioni sul rimorchio e non preoccupatevi, non è necessaria una licenza speciale per il rimorchio; è sufficiente una patente standard B o una vecchia classe 3 :)

Altrimenti, sono sempre aperto a feedback o domande sull'affitto o sull'autocostruzione in generale :)

The van was functional and perfect for a first experience. Ricky, the owner, is very friendly and was highly available during the rental period. The only downside was that there was no shower or coffee maker, and the fridge wasn't powerful enough, contrary to what was mentioned in the listing. The cleanliness was okay, but not impeccable either. Overall It was a great experience. Agosto 2023

CLAIM - not publish yet Some of the things listed were not there: there was no tarp/markise and the outdoor shower didn't function properly. It lost a lot of water when we drove since there was a hole at the top in order to release pressure, meaning that when you needed the water/shower, there was barely anything left. Some other small things from the beginning was that there was no washing fluid, no parking disc, no cutting board, no knives (that could e.g. cut vegetables). Unfortunately, I made a scratch on the vehicle which I would of course pay for. However, the way it was handled was highly unprofessional, one thing is that the repairs wanted by the owner seemed outrageous (several thousand euro), another thing is the communication from the owner which became very hostile and aggressive when I questioned the need for all of these repairs (complete changing of whole and large parts, re-foiling of the whole side of the car, lacquering, spare parts etc). Some was covered by the insurance but the process/communication was deeply critiziable. We had no say in the matter even through Yescapa, there was no way to challenge his claim for the repairs or get a second opinion. I would definitely not recommend renting a car through this guy. We had a great holiday with Ricky's van! We were 2 people and 1 dog driving for 2 weeks in Germany. No issues! Space is ok and the engine is perfect. Ricky is a good and helpful guy, thanks! Ottobre 2024
