Had a fantastic few days in Hercules touring the Isle of Skye. Had everything we needed and the van very quickly felt like our little home! The handover with Fiona couldn’t have been simpler as she kindly met me at the airport when I landed so I could hit the road straight away. Video instructions were also very helpful! We had the BEST time travelling around in ‘Meg’! Really well equipped, nice and cosy and super easy to get around in. This was our first time in a motorhome and safe to say, we will be doing it again! Fiona was absolutely outstanding. Any questions we had, she was always very responsive and her recommendations were super helpful. Cannot recommend Fiona enough! We had very thorough handover before taking over our motorhome and we were also sent some videos so we could look at this also. When we had an issue, we simply contacted via text and we could sort things straight away. There was a handbook also for reference. We did the NC500 with our dogs and being on motorhome meant stops were very easy and could change plans last minute. We were hit by a storm which obviously made things quite rocky overnight - but this is simply luck of the weather. We would definitely consider renting a motorhome from this vendor again, but we had a lovely time. The Size of this motorhome was perfect for us ( 2 adults, 3 large dogs) and meant we could do everywhere we wanted ( length restrictions apply on some of the NC 500). Ottobre 2025

We had an amazing week travelling the NC500 in Effie! Fiona made our experience exploring the highlands very easy due to great communication, and provided amazing knowledge of places to visit. The handover covered everything we needed for our trip . We completed the NC 500 in Hercules. We spent a night in Sango Sands campsite in Durness which was hit by a storm , this was quite an experience! Hercules has everything you need , Fiona has thought about everything, thank you . Handover was fantastic, she explained everything and we could work the van well. We had a hiccup on day 2 and broke a key but Fiona was very responsive and we were on the road again. We traveled where we wanted and the beds were comfy. The van was easy to drive and we had room when traveling. Drop off was planned and easy. Settembre 2025

Fiona was super flexible with the handover time and gave video and then on-person details on the ‘how to’s and what to do’s’ which made it so much easier for us first-timers. ‘Herc’ was ideal for us with massive double berth and panoramic views a standout feature, highly recommended. Agosto 2025

We had an amazing stay in Fiona’s campervan ‘Big Ed’. It was our first experience of a campervan, and Fiona showed us around and explained everything. It was brilliant to drive and the bed was super comfy. The little kitchen area had everything we needed. We really loved everything about Big Ed, the lovely decor and little cupboards to store things. We drove round the NC500 route, and found the hook up for electric charging easy to use on all the lovely campsites we stayed at. Communication with Fiona was great, and we couldn’t recommend booking Big Ed with her enough. We’re definitely converted camper van’ers now! Can’t wait for our next trip! Thank you Fiona! It was our first time drivning motorhome and we got a really good introduction and encouragment during handower. Throughout our 5 day journey in Highlands Hercules smoothly took us to all the places we wanted to visit and was our comphy shelter for the night. It was a lovely trip! Luglio 2025

Handover was really simple and well explained- little booklet had everything we needed and van drove well. Travelled from Inverness through the Fife coast and back up through the caringorms with no issues. Fiona was very accommodating and communicative and even brought back some items we’d left behind. Had an amazing week away travelling around the Highlands in Fiona's van Effie. Fiona was very flexible with dropping off the van when our flight got delayed and made the return of keys at the end of the trip nice and easy. We hired 'Effie,' a beautifully converted camper van, for a mini break with our two small dogs and had an amazing time. Fiona, the owner, was fantastic—she even let us leave our car at her place while we continued our Scottish road trip. The van was a pleasure to drive and handle, and the living space was top-notch, complete with running hot and cold water, a shower, toilet, a ready-made bed, a cozy living area, and a kitchenette. It truly felt like a home away from home. Although it was a short trip, we camped at some breathtaking spots along the NC500, with most nights spent off-grid and just one at a campsite. Overall, it was a brilliant experience with a superb van conversion. Thanks again, Fiona! Ottobre 2024

Nous avons eu une excellente expérience avec le van Effie qui est très bien aménagé et très confortable. Fiona est très sympathique, elle eu la gentillesse de nous amener le van directement à l'aéroport d'Inverness ce qui était très pratique. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour de 5 jours dans les magnifiques paysages des Highlands, en particulier l'île de Skye. FANTASTIC Fiona's campervan "Big Ed" is perfect for 2, very easy to drive, plenty of storage space in the cab area and in rear of vehicle for all your luggage, super comfortable bed with reading lights and usb, cooking facilities work well and there's a good size fridge, heater works extremely well and it's cosy in minutes. The van was spotlessly clean Inc shower unit and toilet. Fiona is super friendly and was very quick to respond and very helpful and flexible with arriving and departing arrangements. Highly recommend Fionas camper as we used it for 10 days on the NC500 and enjoyed every moment of our adventure in a very suitable vehicle. You will not be disappointed in choosing Fiona's campervan. Superbe expérience. L’utilisation du camping car de Fiona Fut une incroyable d'expérience. Tout d’abord elle nous a accueilli à l’aéroport. Nous avons fait la prise en main, et elle nous a donné plein de conseils utiles et de bonnes adresses. Ce fut vraiment une bonne expérience pour notre petit séjour ( 4 nuits) nous permettant de voir pas mal de choses pour découvrir ce magnifique pays. Nous avons longer le Loch Ness fait le tour de l’île de Skye et revenu par GlenFinnan . Le camping-car était facile d’utilisation et très confortable. Notamment la literie. Nous avons parfaitement bien dormi. Nous recommandons tout à fait et ne manquerons pas nous-mêmes de repasser par Fiona, si nous avons la chance de revenir dans le coin. Settembre 2024

We rented Effie for just under a week and wow what a trip. This motorhome was perfect, faultless. it was extremely comfortable and well equipped. its partly what made our trip!! Fiona was amazing, so helpful with both recommendations and the collection drop off, of the van. Fiona met us at the airport on collection then dropped up back once we had finished. We will 100% be renting from Fiona again. Settembre 2024
