We’ve just returned from our first ever motorhome adventure to the Lake District in Goldie, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. First of all, Goldie is AMAZING! She is absolutely huge inside and there is so much room. The main island bed was perfectly comfortable, although I’d definitely recommend taking your own pillows 🙂 The real surprise was the massive drop-down double bed. It is enormous and easily big enough for two big kids. In fact, it’s actually longer than the main island bed! I’m 6’1” and, although I slept on the island bed, I would have been more comfortable off up top! We drove Goldie all the way up to the Lake District and back and had absolutely no issues whatsoever. She was incredibly comfortable on the drive and, once you get used to the size, she is surprisingly easy and enjoyable to drive... We drove her through the tight lanes of Keswick with no issues at all. For the entire trip we spent around £350 in diesel which was approx 700 miles. There is a little learning curve when you first arrive, hooking up the electric, connecting the water, sorting the gas and, of course, the glamorous job of emptying the toilet cassette! 😂 But once you’ve got the hang of everything, it becomes really simple and, strangely enough, actually quite good fun. The biggest thing for us, though, was how lovely and helpful the owners were. They were fantastic from start to finish, incredibly accommodating and made everything really easy for us. They even kindly extended our return time by an extra hour, which made the journey home so much more relaxed. Goldie was absolutely perfect for our family and made our Lake District trip even more special. We would 100% recommend Goldie and her lovely owners and would happily hire her again. What a wonderful experience we had hiring this fabulous motorhome from K&J. They were so friendly and helpful, always getting back promptly to us with any queries we had. The lovely motorhome was spotless and thoughtfully stocked with items you may need for your trip. It was a great size for the family of 4 we are and we would recommend K&J wholeheartedly! First time experience for Motorhome for our family. From the very beginning Kasia & Jan were flexible on our timings so we could make the most of our short break. The handover was about an hour long and very thorough and extremely useful. They explained how everything worked and gave tips and hints of what to do. The Motorhome was so clean and tidy and well stocked up with essentials to help us on our way. All the beds made up and towels all provided we just needed to bring our bags and stock up the fridge! Even when we messaged during the stay they were very quick to reply and helpful once more. For our first time experience we had lots of fun it was just over too quickly. I can’t recommend the Motorhome enough and you will be well looked after with Kasia & Jan. Thank you Novembre 2025

this was the first time in campervan for me and my family. prior to that it was usually caravan. I must admit that Kasia and Jan one of the best people i came across. They did more than what we expected from a campervan. Very good and prompt communication. Very clean and very well organised campervan. When i met them 1st time Kasia and Jan explained to me everything in detailed. I am really glad I found one of the best host and motorhome. Goboony must be very lucky to have people like using there platform. I could go on and on talking about the host. But overall great experience with the booking and HOST. We had a wonderful time in the RV. Having not driven one before and with it being left hand drive I was somewhat apprehensive but Jan and Katarzyna really put my mind at ease with a really thorough overview of the vehicle; I felt like a pro by the end of the trip! The van is very high spec, lovingly furnished and super cozy. We were off grid for 4 days and still had ample electric available; the solar panels clearly work really well. We had such a great time in Kasia and Jan's motorhome. It is so well equipped and clean. Kasia and Jan were so helpful with the delivery and collection of the vehicle, which saved us some time. Much appreciated. They took the time to show us round the van and how everything worked and were on hand if we had any further questions. Will definitely be booking again. Luglio 2025
