What a fantastic and unique way to experience the island! Ana was such a great host and an amazing resource for information on what to explore. My husband and I had the most wonderful time in the van- eating a charcuterie board and drinking wine while watching the sunset, waking up for a sunrise hike after sleeping right at the trail head, driving the winding roads up to picturesque villages- the experiences were unmatched. Ana was simply perfect! Her campervan is ideal for Madeira and handled the mountains like a dream. Ana was extremely helpful by providing a guidebook with points of interest, camping spots, easy access grocery stores, etc. she was very professional and responded to questions immediately.
