The motorhome was great and all was good until the battery died and would not recharge. We could not use the motorhome for over 24 hours, Lawrence assumed we had drained it so I spent the day trying to recharge it, which failed. When the RAC came the following day they tested and diagnosed that the battery was either too old or faulty and was not receiving charge and needed to be replaced. We finally set off for home 5 hours later than planned. We did not fill the petrol back to the the amount when we took it, due to being very late back and exhausted, but we figured the £25 of fuel would be more than offset by us not being able to use the van and spending hours trying to fix it and with the RAC guy. To be honest we would have expected and offer from Lawrence to compensate our inconvenience So we were dissppointed when Lawrence offered nothing to us and then claimed an extra £30 for fuel. I messaged him about it and he agreed to reverse the claim on the £30. But he did not do that and £30 was deducted from our deposit which left a bit of a sour taste to the trip. Agosto 2024
