Absolutely NOT “Jolly” — Avoid at All Costs! Our experience with Jolly Campers was anything but jolly. From start to finish, it was a complete disaster. First off, we had no gas for the first few days, which meant we were freezing at night and couldn’t use the stove. When they finally sorted it out, we quickly realized they hadn’t given us enough gas to begin with — we ran out again before the end of our trip, even though we didn’t use it for six full days. For a 16-day rental, that’s completely unacceptable. When we picked up the camper, there were several engine warning lights on, which is incredibly concerning for a vehicle meant to travel long distances. To make matters worse, from day one the camper smelled rotten, like the grey water tank had never been cleaned. There were missing plugs in the bathroom, so the stench never went away. The water hose they supplied didn’t even have the standard female attachment, meaning we had to fill the tank using bottles — it took over an hour and was absolutely ridiculous. The camper also comes completely bare — no basics, no extras, not even cassette toilet fluid, which any reputable company would provide. Returning the camper was the final headache. They give you a tiny, rigid time window to return it with no flexibility whatsoever. We almost missed our flight home because of their inflexibility. Not only that, ABSOLUTELY MAKE SURE to take photos of every inch of that camper if you decide, even after reading this review, that you're going to roll the dice with this "company". They tried to claim a very small chip in the windshield was our doing, thankfully I had a photo from when we picked it up (see attached photo of window chip and the sign out document indicating "New Damage to front?). They specifically told us "small things would not be an issue"..obviously that was a lie. The windshield and driver/passenger window blinds are miserable to use and require folding up and putting away after each use instead of the more efficient style that simply retracts. And the cherry on top? The camper itself is cheaply designed and poorly built. There was a small hole beside the bed where our AirPods accidentally fell from the storage locker above into said hole. We informed them on return, but they essentially told us they wouldn’t retrieve them — so we lost them thanks to their shoddy design and lack of customer service. Remember the storage locker mentioned above? The clothing storage is horrendous. Tiny little storage lockers which, when opened, allowed numerous articles of clothing to fall out every time (and my airpods). Moreover, those same storage lockers have the most flimsy locking mechanism which we were told were delicate and be careful not to break them...thankfully we didn't. We have rented a number of campers in the past and this by a wide margin was the single worse experience we have had to date. Pick another company, you won't regret it! I’m sure we’re even forgetting a few issues, but the bottom line is clear: 👉 Do NOT rent from Jolly Campers. You will not have a “jolly” time — far from it. Novembre 2025

We kregen een hartelijke ontvangst en duidelijke instructie en tips voor het gebruik van de camper. De camper en alle geleende spullen zagen er schoon en in goede staat uit. We hebben een rondreis gemaakt door Polen, Slowakije en Tsjechië en zowel op campings als off-grid gestaan. Met onze 6 meter lange camper 'Stewie' konden we makkelijk manoeuvreren over smalle weggetjes en vlot doorrijden op de snelwegen. De camper heeft fijn veel laad- en kastruimte, is van alle gemakken voorzien en de hoogte gaf een prettig ruimtelijk gevoel. Wij gaan zeker nog een keer gebruik maken van Stewie of een van zijn naamgenoten. Settembre 2025

Fijne vakantie gehad in Frankrijk met onze eerste camper ervaring. Jolly Campers bestaat uit spontane en vriendelijke mensen die goed uitleg geven en snel op vragen reageren. Mooiste compliment aan Jolly Campers is dat mede door hen we verliefd zijn geraakt op camper reizen. Settembre 2025

Zeer vriendelijke eigenaren. We hebben drie campers gehuurd en na de uitleg konden we op stap. We werden zelfs uitgezwaaid ;) De campers zijn redelijk nieuw, rijden lekker en hebben genoeg power om door steile en krappe straatjes te manoeuvreren. CarPlay is erg fijn dat dat er op zit. Dat maakte de vele roadtrips die we maakten een stuk makkelijker. Bedankt voor de goede zorgen Jolly campers, en tot de volgende keer. Agosto 2025

Booking a camper through the company “Jolly” was a successful experience. Since it was our first time traveling in a camper, we received comprehensive information about how to use our home on wheels. The camper itself was in very good condition, fully technically functional, and there were no mileage limits on our journey, which gave us a lot of flexibility and mobility during the trip. Communication was handled through the company’s owner, Michael, who was very polite, reliable, and open to any questions. We don’t have much travel experience, but we can confidently recommend the company Jolly! Agosto 2025

Alles ging prima , Jolly camper is heel goed bedrijf goede service , duidelijkheid en heel vriendelijk. De reis naar noordwegen is er mooi, echt prachtig natuur en camper is comfortabel met àlles voorzieningen Luglio 2025

Bus rijdt prima, wel karig ingericht, heb eigen extra keukenspullen meegenomen. Duidelijk een georganiseerd verhuurbedrijf met hufterproof camper (waterdichte gladde matrassen). Ondanks dat wel meerdere ongerepareerde defecten (gordijntjes, kapotte stoel, deukjes), echter bij een nieuw gevonden klein deukje wordt maximaal bedrag in rekening gebracht. Voelt een beetje als extra verdienmodel. Volgende zeker weer particulier huren! Luglio 2025

Vriendelijke service, camper was tip top in orde en reed prima. Wij zijn in Zuid Engeland geweest met veel heuvels en smalle wegen, daar was deze buscamper perfect voor Luglio 2025

Mooie moderne en complete camper. Communicatie met het team van Jolly was goed. We zijn naar Noorwegen geweest met de camper en hebben genoten van de natuur. De afmeting van de camper is goed geschikt voor kronkelende berg weggetjes en de automaat is geen overbodige luxe. Luglio 2025

great experience with Jolly Campers. Nice, efficient, know what they are doing. Camper was a bit small for us, in hindsight, but that was our own choice. Be aware that they track your journey, like most renting companies do. I think that should be made clear explicitly at the rental. Giugno 2025
