Conditions of Booking for Camping les Ripettes
1. Reservation
Requests for reservations will be taken by telephone, fax, email or on-line. Reservations are only fully confirmed after formal agreement by Camping les Ripettes and after receipt of any deposit requested.
2. Deposits For all reservations a minimum payment of €30 is required. Deposit can be paid by credit/debit card, cash, travellers cheques or French cheque.
3. Balance of payment: The balance of the payment for camping reservations is payable on arrival at Camping les Ripettes. For mobile home or caravan reservations the balance is due 8 weeks prior to your stay. If the required balance is not received then the reservation is deemed to be cancelled by the client and the mobile home, caravan or pitch may be relet to a different client.
4. Duration : The reservation is valid from 2pm on the date of arrival until 11am on the date of departure. Earlier arrivals or later departures are only possible with the explicit agreement of the proprietors and may incurr an additional charge.
5. Capacity :
The provisional reservation or the confirmed reservation is for the dates, the specified camping units and for the number of people requested. The proprietors may refuse to accept changes to these details and there may be additional charges.
6. Pitches – specific pitches are not guaranteed as pitch placement is at the discretion of the proprietors. Camping les Ripettes will however always try to meet individual requests.
7. Prices : The tarif is displayed at reception and on the website. Any prices agreed with our agents will be honoured and this applies equally to prices stated for any reservation made and confirmed via internet.
8. A cleaning/damage deposit equivalent to the cost of one night's rental is required from visitors to the mobile home or caravan prior to the start of their stay. This can be paid in advance or on arrival at the site. It will be reimbursed on departure and after inspection of the premises and return of the key as long as all is left clean and without damage.
9. If the client wishes to make a reservation for a group of more than 2 units or for a caravan with double axle then they should contact the proprietors direct.
10. The campsite is for holiday-makers only and reservations are not accepted from other clientele except with the explicit prior agreement of the proprietors.
11. The caravan, mobile home or camping pitch cannot be sublet to other people except with the proprietors explicit agreement.
12. The proprietors are not responsible for any losses incurred resulting from a force majeure.
13. Cancellations :
Any cancellation should be notified by letter or email directly to the proprietors.
For any cancellation made by or on behalf of the client, the sum reimbursable by the proprietors is as follows :
- cancellation more than 6 months before the start of the reserved date : reimbursement in full of any amounts paid less €10 admin fee.
- cancellation between 6 months and 8 weeks before the start of the reserved date : reimbursement of any amounts paid, with the exception of the deposit fee for the mobile home or caravan or the deposit fee paid for camping.
- cancellation less than 8 weeks prior to the start of the reserved date – no reimbursement of any sum paid with the exception of any amount paid as a cleaning/damage deposit.
- if an emplacement reservation is cancelled anytime up to 24 hours prior to the date of the reservation then a voucher for the full value of the deposit paid will be offered which can be used against a future reservation.
In the unlikely event that the proprietors need to cancel a reservation for any reason then the client will be reimbursed in full for any payments already made. The proprietors will not accept responsibility for incidental damages resulting from such cancellation.
14. Termination during the contract period.
If terminated by the client then there will be no reimbursement due of any monies paid.
15. All clients at Camping les Ripettes are required to respect the rules of the campsite. If the rules are not followed then Camping les Ripettes may require the clients to leave the campsite and the client will be deemed to have terminated the contract by their behaviour.
16. Dogs and cats are only accepted at Camping les Ripettes on condition that they have a valid pet passport or certificate of vaccination against rabies and this must be presented at reception on arrival. They are not accepted in the mobile home or rental caravan. The animals on site must be on a lead at all times, must not make noise and owners must be responsible for immediately cleaning up any mess they make. Maximum of 2 animals per pitch.
17. No departures from the campsite are permissable between the hours of 10pm and 7.30 am as this causes disturbance to other people on site.
18. Insurance for Civil and Professionel Resonsibilities
The proprietors have an insurance policy contract number 01141887 with MAAF assurances.
