Camping Lou Rouchetou

In the very heart of the Southern Cévennes, surrounded by olive trees, the scents of thyme and the singing of the cicadas, the campsite Lou Rouchetou provides the ideal venue to enjoy a sunny holiday, in a warm, friendly and relaxing atmosphere.

INFORMATION AND BOOKING TERMS PITCHES AND MOBILE-HOMES
IN CASE OF A PANDEMIC: Our campsite has implemented the health measures recommended and required by the French government and local authorities in order to protect everyone's health and safety.
Bookings: You can book online at www.camping-lou-rouchetou.com or send us your completed booking agreement along with a 30% deposit. Your booking will be confirmed once we receive the agreement (correctly filled out) and the deposit, and advise you that your booking has been accepted.
Only those people listed on the agreement are permitted to stay in the holiday rental or on the camping pitch. Bookings can be cancelled if the agreement has not been adhered to (authorised number of people). The booking period stated on the agreement remains payable in full, regardless of late arrival or early departure. Booking options are held for seven (7) days. After that time, if you have not contacted us, it will be automatically cancelled. Please contact us if you are arriving late. If we do not hear from you, your booking will be held until 12 pm the day after your planned arrival date. At that time, your booking will be cancelled without any refund, and the campsite may allow others to book that pitch or holiday rental. When signing the agreement, the holiday rental or camping pitch allocation number is not final. The campsite reserves the right to change it until your arrival day.
Payment terms (deposit and balance): 1. For bookings made more than 30 days before the scheduled arrival date, a deposit of 30% of the total booking amount must be paid at the time of booking, by credit/debit card (secure online payment), cheque or bank transfer. Holiday vouchers are not accepted as payment for the deposit.
2. For bookings made within 30 days of the scheduled arrival date, payment in full is required at the time of booking.
3. Any remaining balance must be paid 30 days before the scheduled arrival date for camping pitches and holiday rentals. Payment methods: Bank/credit card (secure online payment), cheque, bank transfer, holiday vouchers and Connect holiday vouchers.
4. If the balance is not paid at least 30 days before the scheduled arrival date, the campsite reserves the right to cancel the booking and make the pitch/rental available to book. The campsite will not refund any deposit paid. Tourist tax: The campsite collects the tourist tax on behalf of the local district council. It is not included in the campsite's prices. The tax is €0.61 per night per person over 18 years. The tourist tax must be paid at the time of booking. Eco-tax: The eco-tax is collected for the purpose of protecting the environment and processing waste. The tax is €0.40 per night per person.
During your stay:  A bond of €160 is required for mobile homes and one for cleaning. The bonds will be returned to you after the inspection, or within a week by mail if your departure falls outside our inspection hours. The cleaning package does not cover certain tasks: washing and putting away the dishes, and emptying the rubbish bins.
Pitches: You can access your pitch from 2 pm and must vacate it before 12.00 am on the day of your departure. If you vacate after the check-out time, an extra night will be charged.
Pets: Pets must be kept on leads and their vaccination record must be presented at reception (Category 1 and 2 dogs are prohibited).
Mobile home: You can access your mobile home from 3 pm (please contact us if you are arriving after 7.00 pm) and must vacate it before 10 am on the day of your departure. In the low season, those times may vary depending on availability (contact us for more details). The balance due for your booking must be paid 30 days before your arrival date. Failing this, your booking will be cancelled and your deposit retained by the campsite.
Pool complex: Only guests staying at the campsite and wearing a wristband can access the pool complex. Wristbands are issued upon arrival. SWIMMING BRIEFS MUST BE WORN! SWIMMING SHORTS, TRUNKS, BERMUDAS AND BURKINIS PROHIBITED. Children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. You are not allowed to smoke, eat or drink within the pool area.
Neat Camping cancellation insurance: The insurance premium is 4% of your total booking price. You must select the insurance when booking and pay in full. You cannot add the insurance after booking and, if you then need to cancel your stay, the campsite will not provide any refund. When making a claim, you must notify the campsite first, then the insurance company online within 48 hours at www.https://declare.neat.eu/campings independants. Image rights: You expressly, and without compensation, authorise Lou Rouchetou campsite to use any photos and videos of you and your children that may be taken during your stay for the campsite's advertising purposes and on any media. If you do not agree to this, please inform reception upon arrival.
Safety: All open fires are strictly prohibited under the prefectural order no. 2013-073-0002 of 14 March 2013. Charcoal barbecues are prohibited on all our pitches; gas and electric barbecues are allowed. It is prohibited to attach washing lines to trees at the campsite. The campsite management company accepts no liability in the event of theft, loss, damage, fire, or bad weather, which falls under the camper's civil liability.
Electric vehicle charging station: For safety reasons, it is prohibited to charge your electric vehicles at your camping pitch or holiday rental (you will be held liable in the event of any damage). An electric vehicle charging station has been provided behind the campsite toilets (charges apply).
All campers must comply with the local campsite rules and must follow the safety instructions displayed at the campsite.
