1 - Purpose and scope These general terms and conditions of sale apply by operation of law, without restriction or reservation, to any purchase of accommodation services (rental of bare pitches, rental of accommodation), catering services, entertainment or any other service offered by Camping le Montbartoux hereinafter referred to as the "CAMPSITE" to consumers and customers hereinafter referred to as the "CUSTOMER". The main characteristics of the services are presented on the CAMPING www.campingmontbartoux.com website. The CLIENT is required to read them before placing an order. The choice or purchase of a service is the sole responsibility of the CLIENT. The internal rules are posted on the campsite. These terms and conditions and the internal regulations apply to the exclusion of all other conditions and in particular those applicable to other channels for the marketing of services or on the Internet.

2 - Right of withdrawal In accordance with Article L.121-21-8 of the Consumer Code, the tenant is informed that he does not have a right of withdrawal following the signing of this contract.

3 - Booking For all bookings, an "option" is registered (subject to availability) upon receipt of your request. This is valid for a maximum of 48 hours. The reservation becomes firm only upon receipt of a deposit of 50% of the base rate + supplements (excluding taxes) and the reservation contract dated and signed by the CLIENT. All bookings are nominative and may not be transferred or sublet under any circumstances without the agreement of the CAMPSITE, under penalty of nullity. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians. The CAMPSITE reserves the right to refuse a CUSTOMER if he or she has previously caused damage, violated safety regulations or interfered with the peaceful enjoyment of other customers.

4 - Payment of the balance If the reservation has given rise to the payment of a deposit by the CUSTOMER, the balance of the stay is payable in full at least 30 days before arrival.

5 - Tourist tax The tourist taxes, collected on behalf of the municipalities, are given for information purposes only and are not contractual. They are to be paid by the CUSTOMER at the place of stay on your arrival.

6 – Cancellation The CLIENT may cancel their reservation up to 30 days before arrival. The amount will be kept as a credit note for a period of 6 months. After this period, the campsite will keep the amount. The CLIENT will have to pay the full amount if they cancel within 30 days prior to arrival. If the customer does not show up, the full amount of the reservation will be due. If the CAMPSITE is unable to honour the contract, for whatever reason, the customer will be reimbursed for the deposit paid.

7 - Modification of booking No reduction or refund will be made in the event of: absence, delayed arrival, early departure; if all or some of the occupants are absent for one or more nights during their stay. In the event of a no-show by the CUSTOMER within 24 hours of the start of the stay and without proof and/or information of the CUSTOMER's arrival, the CAMPSITE will dispose of the pitch or rental accommodation.

8 - Arrival and departure Arrivals: from 16:00 to 19:00 Departures: before 11:00 Any delay in arrival must be expressly notified to the CAMPSITE. Any delay does not give rise to a refund and no reduction in the price can be requested on the initial amount.

9 - Additional person and/or visitor If on arrival or during the stay, the number of tenant(s) exceeds that specified in the contract, the CAMPSITE reserves the right to refuse the tenants, or to claim a price increase according to the rate in force. Any additional vehicles and visitors will also be charged according to the current rate. For security reasons, all visitors must present themselves at the reception desk and pay the fee in force. Any fraudulent introduction of visitors will be punished. Access to the pool and showers is not allowed to visitors.

10 - Pets Pets are accepted with an extra charge per pet per day, provided that they are vaccinated and kept on a leash by an adult and must be accompanied outside the campsite for their needs. Under no circumstances should they be left alone on the pitch or in the rental and should not inconvenience the neighborhood with their barking or dirt. Category 1 and 2 dogs are not accepted. In the event of non-compliance, the CAMPSITE may pronounce the eviction of the dog and its owners. Animals not declared on arrival will be subject to an additional cost of 20 euros per day in addition to the current rate.

11 - Deposit and inventory of fixtures A deposit of €350.00 (by cheque, or card imprint crédit) is required before taking possession of your rental property as a guarantee of a return in good condition and in a perfect state of cleanliness. Any complaint about the condition or inventory of the rental must be brought to the attention of the Management no later than 3 days after arrival. On the day of your departure, the rental must be returned before 11 am. In case of overtime, an additional half-day will be charged. The inventory of fixtures at the end of the day and after your departure will be made by the cleaning staff. Within 7 days, the CAMPSITE will be able to confirm the destruction/cancellation of the deposit or send an invoice for the cleaning and/or damage service. PLEASE NOTE: The deposit of €350.00 will be kept in full if the smoking ban in the rentals has not been respected. A deposit may also be requested for stays on pitches, such as for group stays. The deposit will be returned at the end of the stay or no later than 7 days after the end of the stay, less any compensation withheld for any damage caused to the common facilities, notified to the CUSTOMER within 3 days of the end of the stay. The withholding of the deposit does not exclude additional compensation in the event that the costs are higher than the amount of the deposit.

12 - Swimming pool Strictly reserved for campsite guests. Unsupervised swimming pool: children remain under the full responsibility of their parents. Children should not access the pool without direct parental supervision.

13 - Internal rules All CUSTOMERS are required to scrupulously comply with the internal rules of the establishment which are posted and of which everyone can obtain a copy on request. All rental tenants must have holiday insurance and/or civil liability insurance. The CAMPSITE declines all responsibility in the event of theft, fire, bad weather or various accidents for which the CUSTOMER is responsible.

14 - Complaints Any complaint relating to a stay must be sent within 7 days of taking possession by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt. In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code concerning "the mediation process for consumer disputes", the CUSTOMER has the right to use the mediation service offered by Le Montbartoux campsite free of charge. The "consumer law" mediator thus proposed is CM2C.
