 Terms and Conditions — Camping du Château de Chambonnières 
 
1. Purpose  
 
These terms govern the sale of stays between Camping du Château de Chambonnières and the customer. Booking a stay implies full and unreserved acceptance of these terms. 
2. Booking  
 
Bookings become effective only upon receipt of: 
The duly completed and signed contract, 
Payment of the deposit (or the full amount, depending on the case), 
And written confirmation from the campsite. Bookings are personal and cannot be transferred without prior agreement. No refunds will be granted for early departures or late arrivals. 
3. Security Deposit  
 
At the latest upon arrival, a security deposit will be required (via credit card or check) based on the booking type: 
Chalet: €400 
Mobile home: €200 
Pitch and Motorhome: €150 This deposit covers two parts: potential damages and cleaning fees. The deposit is returned after the departure inspection, minus any costs for damages or cleaning fees (if the accommodation is not returned perfectly clean). 
4. Inventory and Cleaning 
Cleanliness: Rental accommodations and private sanitary facilities on pitches must be returned in an impeccable state of cleanliness (floors mopped, dishes washed and put away, bins emptied, refrigerator cleaned). 
Cleaning Fee: An optional cleaning service is available for €60. However, even if this option is chosen, guests are required to remove all trash and wash the dishes. 
Departure outside office hours: In the event of an early departure (outside reception opening hours), the exit inspection will be carried out unilaterally by the management. In this case, the manager's inventory and cleanliness report shall be deemed authentic and binding regarding the return or retention of the deposit. 
5. Payment Methods  
 
Bank transfers, credit cards, ANCV holiday vouchers (paper or Connect), or any other means specified on the campsite's website. 
6. Rates  
 
Prices are indicated in Euros, VAT included. They only include the services mentioned in the contract. Tourist tax (taxe de séjour) must be paid extra according to current regulations. 
7. Deposit and Balance 
 
A 30% deposit of the total amount is required upon booking. The balance must be paid at the latest 30 days before arrival. For late bookings (less than 30 days before arrival), the total amount of the stay is due at the time of booking. 
8. Right of Withdrawal  
 
In accordance with Article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation services. 
9. Cancellation 
By the customer: 
Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival: refund of the deposit, minus a €15 processing fee. 
Cancellation less than 30 days before arrival or no-show: no refund. 
Any stay already started must be paid in full. 
By the campsite: In the event of cancellation by the campsite (excluding force majeure), the customer will be fully refunded for all amounts paid. 
10. Modifications  
 
Any changes (dates, accommodation, number of people, etc.) are subject to prior agreement from the campsite and may result in a price adjustment. 
11. Cancellation Insurance 
Recommendation: The campsite strongly recommends that guests take out cancellation insurance at the time of booking. 
Subscription: Guests have the option to subscribe to the insurance offered by our partner Campez Couvert for 2.9% of the total cost of the stay. 
Coverage: In the event of cancellation or interruption covered by the policy, the insurer will refund the guest, minus the insurance premium. If no insurance is taken, no refund requests will be accepted outside the terms of Article 9. 
12. Arrival and Departure 
Arrival: from 2:00 PM. 
Departure: before 11:00 AM. Unauthorized late departures may result in the billing of an additional night. 
13. Internal Rules  
 
All campers must comply with the rules posted at the reception. Any violation may lead to eviction from the campsite without refund. 
14. Liability  
 
The campsite declines all responsibility for theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings. Children are the sole responsibility of their parents. 
15. Pets  
 
Pets are allowed subject to conditions and an additional daily fee (at the time of booking or arrival): maximum 1 per rental, up-to-date vaccination record required, must be kept on a leash, and are prohibited in certain areas (sanitaries, reception, shop...). Category 1 and 2 dogs are strictly prohibited. 
16. Mediation  
 
In accordance with the provisions of the French Consumer Code regarding the "consumer dispute mediation process," after having contacted us and in the absence of a satisfactory response, you have the possibility to use a consumer mediation procedure free of charge through :

17. Data Protection

18. Governing Law  
 
These terms are subject to French law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts local to the campsite.
