Camping Le Montet d'Oléron

Le Montet d'Oléron campsite is a quiet, family-friendly campsite on the island of Oléron, close to beaches, 2 km from the Atlantic Ocean, and 800 m from the town center and its shops. The campsite entrance faces a bike path, allowing you to get around freely without taking your vehicle.

General booking conditions

The reservation

The reservation becomes effective only after receipt of the deposit and acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale when booking online. Minors must be accompanied by their parents or legal guardians for the duration of the stay.
Camping Le Montet d'Oléron offers family holidays. Camping Le Montet d'Oléron reserves the right to refuse any reservation that would be contrary to this principle.
Any reservation of 2 accommodations by the same person or by different people who know each other and travel together for the same reasons on the same dates of stay on the campsite is considered as a group. Camping Le Montet d'Oléron reserves the right to study the reservation request before accepting or refusing it.

Payment terms and conditions

Rental accommodation: For bookings made more than 30 days before the start of the stay, a deposit of 30% of the price of the amount of the services booked must be paid when booking at the campsite. The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before the start of the stay at the campsite.
For bookings made less than 30 days before the start date of the stay, full payment must be made at the time of booking at the campsite.

Locations : A deposit of 30% of the price of the amount of the reserved services must be paid upon reservation at Camping Le Montet d'Oléron. The balance must be paid on arrival.

The booking fees are offered for stays booked and paid by cheque or credit card.

Cancellation and modification

Any request to increase the duration of your stay will be made according to availability and according to the rates in effect.
Any request to reduce the duration of your stay is considered as a partial cancellation and will be subject to the cancellation and interruption of your stay terms and conditions.
Any interrupted or shortened stay (late arrival, early departure) due to your fault will not give rise to a refund.

In the event of cancellation due to the campsite, except in the event of force majeure or failure by the customer to comply with the internal regulations, the stay will be fully refunded. However, this cancellation may not give rise to the payment of damages.

Cancellation and interruption insurance: It is recommended to take out insurance to benefit from the reimbursement of accommodation expenses in the event of cancellation. We offer you an optional Cancellation and Interruption insurance in your rental contract. Our partner Gritchen Affinity undertakes to reimburse all or part of the stay to customers who have taken out Campez Couvert insurance in the event of a covered loss. In the event of cancellation, you must notify us of your cancellation as soon as an event preventing your departure occurs, by mail or e-mail, as well as notify the insurer within 48 hours (www.campez-couvert.com) and provide all necessary information and supporting documents. The general conditions are available on our website or by post on request.
The insurance premium must be paid in full at the time of booking. It is non-refundable.

Your stay

• Delay or non-occupation

In case of delay, please let us know by phone or email. If no information is received on this subject, the location or rental could be assigned to another customer the next day at 12pm. The deposit and the balance will not be refundable.
In the event of a delayed arrival involving the maintenance of the pitch or rental, there will be no deduction or refund of these days.
In the event of early departure by the tenant upon reservation of a camping or rental pitch, no refund is made for any reason. (See cancellation insurance)

• Arrival time

Locations : You will be welcomed in the afternoon during the opening hours of the reception.
Rentals : You will be welcomed from 16h00 to 19h00.

On your arrival, a detailed inventory will be given to you. It will be your responsibility to check each item (state of equipment, accessories, crockery, etc...) and report any anomaly immediately upon receipt. Late complaints will not be taken into account.
A deposit of 250 euros covering any damage to the accommodation or equipment and cleaning not carried out or insufficient cleaning of the rental will be deposited on your arrival by CB imprint. An additional deposit of 100 euros will be required for any reservation made with your pet. These deposits will be returned to you on your departure, after verification of the accommodation. In the event of departure outside the hours of departure and opening of the reception, the deposit by bank imprint will be cancelled after verification of the rental by the manager if no anomaly is found.
In the event of damage to the accommodation or equipment, the cost of replacement or repair will be invoiced to you on your departure.


• During your stay

It is the camper's responsibility to insure himself: the camper is responsible for the supervision of his personal belongings (bicycles, etc.). The campsite declines all responsibility in the event of an incident involving the camper's civil liability. All customers must comply with the provisions of the internal regulations. Each named tenant is responsible for any disturbances and nuisances caused by persons staying with or visiting him/her.

 

• Departure

Rental accommodation: On the day of departure indicated on your contract, the rental accommodation must be vacated before 10am. The accommodation will be returned in a perfectly clean state, and the inventory can be checked, any broken or damaged items will be at your expense, as well as the restoration of the premises if necessary. The deposit will be returned to you at the end of your stay, after deduction of the compensation deducted, on supporting invoices, for any damage noted by the inventory of fixtures. The retention of the bond does not exclude additional compensation in the event that the costs exceed the amount of the bond.
Rental accommodation: In the event that the accommodation has not been cleaned before your departure, you will be asked to pay a cleaning fee of €70 including VAT.
For any delayed departure, you may be charged an additional day at the current nightly rate.

Animals
Cats are not allowed in the rental accommodation. Only dogs are accepted, except those of categories 1 and 2 for a fee payable at the time of your reservation. It is not allowed to leave your pet alone in an accommodation or outside on the Camping Le Montet d'Oléron pitch, even if attached. To protect the rental, you must provide for your pet's bedding. Duvets, blankets, sofas and beds are prohibited. Accidental droppings in the campsite must be collected.
Be careful, animals are not allowed on all the beaches of the island of Oleron from June 15 to September 15 between 8:30 am and 8 pm.

Image rights: During your stay at Camping Le Montet d'Oléron, you may be photographed or filmed to design our brochures or to illustrate our website. If you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, simply report it to the reception upon arrival.

Responsibility of the campsite

All the photos and texts used on the website of Camping Le Montet d'Oléron are non-contractual. They are only indicative. It may happen that certain activities and facilities proposed are cancelled, in particular for climatic reasons or in cases of force majeure as defined by the French courts.

Data processing and liberties

The information you provide us with when placing your order will not be passed on to any third party. This information will be considered confidential by Camping Le Montet d'Oléron. They will only be used by the management to process your order and to strengthen and personalize communication and the offer of services reserved for its customers. In accordance with the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978, you have the right to access, rectify and oppose any personal data concerning you. To do so, simply send us a request by post
In the event of non-payment, the reservation will be considered as cancelled. The deposit paid remains the property of the campsite.
