GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

1. OUR SERVICES

Pitches
By a pitch we mean a bare space for your tent, caravan or camper van. We have calculated our packages on the basis of 2 people. This package includes overnight accommodation for 2 people in a tent, caravan or camper van, parking for your vehicle on or near your pitch, access to reception facilities and toilets, and entertainment. In addition to this package, there is a supplement for electricity and per person, for more than 2 and up to a maximum of 5, and for any extra vehicle.

Accommodation
Campsite accommodation consists of mobile homes and fully-equipped tents. We would remind you that any accommodation rented for a specific number of occupants may not, under any circumstances, be occupied by a greater number of people. Please note that infants are considered to be occupants in their own right. The price includes an overnight stay for 1 to 6 people, depending on the accommodation selected (e.g. the price for a mobile home occupied by 4 people is calculated per unit and not according to the number of people occupying it), water, gas, electricity, parking for your vehicle near your accommodation, access to the reception facilities and entertainment. All our accommodation comes with a minimum of equipment (welcome kit with cleaning products and toilet paper), with the exception of sheets, which can be reserved, and bathroom linen, which is not provided and must be brought by the customer. Any additional vehicles will be added to the fixed price. At the end of the stay, the accommodation must be returned in good working order, with the cleaning done and the crockery washed, dried and put back in its place. The interior layout and decoration may differ slightly from the plans, but this does not affect the capacity of the accommodation.


Infrastructure
Infrastructure is included in the rates, but there may be additional charges.
Services
The opening dates of bars, restaurants, grocery shops, swimming pools and waterslides are indicated on our website.

Entertainment
In most cases, these are free and open to anyone with a reservation at the campsite. They are given for information only and may be changed or cancelled on your arrival at the campsite without any reduction in the price of your stay.

Supplements
These are indicated on our website (they concern the following items: additional car, additional person, presence of a pet, sheets, baby kit in high season, fridge hire). During your stay, there may be other optional extras to be paid for on site, such as the use of facilities managed by external service providers.

2. OUR PRICES

Prices are given in euros and include VAT for pitches and rental accommodation. They do not include: tourist tax (the price of which is set by the commune), optional activities offered by external service providers, the deposit, options such as bed linen and additional services.


Pitches
The minimum stay is 1 night in low season and 2 nights in high season.
Accommodation
The minimum stay is 1 night in low season and 3 nights with arrival on Saturdays, Sundays or Wednesdays in high season.

Tourist tax
The tourist tax is a local tax on tourist stays, the amount of which varies according to the commune, the period of stay and the collection periods. This tax applies to people aged 18 and over. It is payable as soon as you arrive at our campsite.

3. YOUR RESERVATION

Early booking
All booking requests by post must be accompanied by a deposit of 30% of the total cost of your stay, plus the full insurance premium if you have taken out this option. The balance must be paid 30 days before your arrival date without any reminder from us, failing which we reserve the right to consider your booking cancelled and apply the cancellation charges.

Last-minute bookings
For bookings made less than 1 month before the start of the holiday, full payment must be made at the time of booking.

4. PAYMENT FOR YOUR STAY

Whether you wish to pay a deposit or the balance of your stay, our campsite accepts the following methods of payment: bank cheque, postal cheque (made payable to Camping le Vézère Périgord), holiday vouchers, credit card and bank transfer. Camping le Vézère Périgord is approved by the Agence Nationale pour les Chèques Vacances (ANCV). If you use this method of payment, we advise you to send us the completed cheques by registered post. 5. ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE

Accommodation
In high season, the minimum stay is 3 nights, with arrival on Saturday, Sunday or Wednesday between 3pm and 7pm and departure on the following Saturday, Sunday or Wednesday before 10am.
In low season, the minimum stay is 1 night with arrival from 3pm and departure before 10am. Arrival and departure days are free.

Pitches
Arrival days are free, i.e. they run from Monday to Sunday and there is no minimum overnight stay in low season and a minimum of 2 nights in high season. You must arrive from 2pm and leave before 12am every day of the week.


6. DEPOSIT

A deposit of 400 euros will be required on arrival at the Vézère Périgord campsite, payable either in cash or by cheque in euros (only for French residents), or by credit card for rental accommodation, and will be returned to you at the end of your stay. The deposit will be retained by the Vézère Périgord campsite in the event of damage to the accommodation or its contents. Part of the deposit will be retained by the Vézère Périgord campsite to cover the cost of cleaning if this has not been done (or has been done inadequately) on departure. In accordance with the amount of the cleaning package corresponding to the range of your accommodation.

7. CANCELLATION OF STAY

Any cancellation of a stay by the customer must be notified by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt (LRAR) and will be taken into account on the date of receipt. Your letter must be sent directly to Camping. If the customer cancels, on the date of receipt of the registered letter by the campsite :
- More than 30 days before your arrival date, the deposit of 30% of the total cost of your stay will be retained.
- Less than 30 days before your arrival date or in the event of no-show, 100% of the total cost of your stay will be retained. In the event of cancellation by the Vézère Périgord campsite, the customer will be entitled to equivalent compensation, except in cases of force majeure.
- The fee paid for the cancellation insurance option is never refundable.

8. INTERRUPTION OF THE HOLIDAY BY THE CUSTOMER

Early departure by the customer will not, under any circumstances, give rise to reimbursement of sums paid by the campsite. However, if you take out the proposed cancellation insurance, you may, depending on the reason for leaving the campsite, claim reimbursement for services not used and any costs incurred for cleaning the accommodation, provided that you notify the insurance company of the early departure on the same day. The insured party may not demand reimbursement, replacement or compensation from the campsite.


9. CANCELLATION INSURANCE

The prices shown in the price list and on the website do not include cancellation insurance. It will be offered to you when you make your booking directly online to cover the cost of cancelling or interrupting your stay. The general terms and conditions of cancellation insurance can be consulted when you book on the website. On request, we can send them to you by e-mail.

10. MINORS

Le Vézère Périgord campsite reserves the right to refuse to accept minors who are not accompanied by their parents or guardians.

11. ANIMALS

Le Vézère Périgord campsite accepts pets. However, they are not tolerated near the swimming pools. Only one pet is authorised per rental unit, and it must be up to date with its vaccinations and accompanied by its health record. Pets must be kept on a lead on site and category 1 and 2 dogs, as defined in article L 211-12 of the French rural code (new), are prohibited. We remind you that you must bring all your household linen (blankets or duvets) if you book a rental accommodation with a pet.

12. HOUSE RULES
In order to make life easier for you during your holiday, a set of house rules is displayed at the campsite reception. Please read them and respect them. We can provide you with a copy on request.

13. LIABILITY

We would like to draw your attention to the fact that, in accordance with current legislation, outdoor accommodation is not the responsibility of hoteliers. Consequently, Le Vézère Périgord campsite cannot be held liable for the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings in our campsite, car parks or communal areas. Certain precautions can help you avoid any inconvenience: lock your windows and your front door before leaving your accommodation.

14. COMPLAINTS

Any complaint relating to your stay must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within 30 days of your stay to Camping le Vézère Périgord, 24620 TURSAC.
15. INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND FREEDOM
In accordance with the law ri' 78-17 of January 6, 1978, any purchaser has a right of access, of modification, correction and suppression of the personal data concerning it and communicated to the company within the framework of the purchase of stays. The purchaser may exercise this right directly with Camping Le Vézère Périgord 24620 TURSAC.

16. COMPETENT JURISDICTION

Any dispute relating to the purchase and running of a holiday, or relating to the execution or interpretation of the general conditions of sale will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Bergerac.
