ue, George & Dot welcome you to our quiet and picturesque campsite near the village of Villefranche de Queyran, Owned by our Family since 1999. You can enjoy natural surroundings to relax, visit beautiful places and taste the local gastronomy. Located in a wooded valley by the river ourbise and a 16th century mill and lake. The campsite has large 46 flat grass pitches ranging from full sun to shade; The heated swimming pool is placed off to the side so that each area retains its peace and tranquility. The restaurant, bar and terrace are located in the former mill, overlooking the lake, with an open patio for evenings with friends. Enjoy local markets, there are many cycling and walking routes with maps available on site. The Pyrenees and the coast are a few hours drive away. Nature lovers should watch for kingfishers, red squirrels, golden orioles, lizards and deer, and even sometimes wild boar. Children will enjoy the water park course at Casteljaloux, with its lakeside beach, as well as at Damazan, where you can water ski or enjoy the lakeside beach. Golfers will enjoy 2 local golf courses. All season - relaxed, tranquil and very friendly ; ideal for anglers, nature lovers, cyclists, hikers, wine lovers, or simply to relax and escape; also suitable for holidays in the regions rural areas of south-west France only for stopovers en route to the south or the North.

We are a relatively small campsite and want to keep it as somewhere people can come and enjoy the beautiful surroundings in a relaxing atmosphere. We have tried to keep the campsite environment as true to nature as possible but as such there are inevitably some natural features where campers should take extra care including around the streams and lake. Campers should familiarise themselves with the site during daylight hours so that they know where the streams, steps, paths, woodland, boundaries and fencing are located. Please familiarise yourself with the location of the fire extinguishers. A map of the campsite will have been provided for you, but there is also a plan of the site on the notice board and in the toilet block. Parents must supervise their children at all times whilst on the site. We accept bookings from the following: families, couples, groups aged 18 and over (by prior arrangement), groups 16 – 18 accompanied by an adult, We do not accept bookings from stag/hen parties or unaccompanied under 16s. Our quiet time is from 10:30pm until 7:00am. Please always be considerate to other campers as we are a family campsite. Please observe the campsite speed limit, which is 10 kmh throughout the site. We do not allow commercial vehicles, including vans on site. (campervans allowed). Please note we only have a very limited number of additional spaces for extra cars (1 car is allowed per pitch). Please let us know if you would like to bring an extra car before arriving on site so we can make sure we have capacity for this. Extra cars are charged at €5 per night. Obedient dogs are welcome. Dogs must be always kept on a lead and must not be left unattended. Please clean up immediately after your dog. Open fires are not allowed, BBQ's are allowed if raised off the ground. During periods of extreme hot & dry weather BBQs are not allowed. Waste should be disposed of in the appropriate bins. Please separate, Plastics/Paper & glass in the correct recycling bins. We do not accept responsibility for any damage, loss or injury to any member of your party, vehicle or possessions.
Any accidents must be reported to reception as soon as is practically possible. Campers agree not to cause any damage during their stay. All damage must be paid for immediately. These rules are for the benefit of everyone and to ensure you have an amazing stay with us. Unfortunately, if you ignore them, you may be asked to leave, and no refunds will be given.
Standard cancellation policy Bookings can be amended, moved or cancelled until your day of arrival. We reserve the right to cancel bookings for reasons deemed necessary by the management. As campsite owners we need to record personal information for all our campers. We have a responsibility to comply with the obligations placed on Data Processors by the regulation.
