Article 1 Sales Terms and Conditions
These general terms and conditions automatically govern all sales of stays made on the website www.camping-dunamunguy.com. They form an integral part of any contract concluded between the campsite and its customers.
Each customer acknowledges having read these general terms and conditions prior to booking a stay, both for themselves and for any person participating in the stay.
In accordance with applicable law, these general terms and conditions are made available to any customer for information purposes prior to the conclusion of any contract for the sale of stays. They may also be obtained upon written request sent to the registered office of the establishment.
Article 2 Booking conditions
2.1 Price and payment
Prices for stays are indicated in euros, including VAT. Please note that the tourist tax is not included in the price.
All rentals are personal and non-transferable. The booking only becomes effective upon our agreement and after receipt of the full amount of the stay and booking fees. It is strictly forbidden to add tents on the pitches of rental accommodations.
In the event of an unreported delay, the rental will become available 24 hours after the arrival date stated in the booking contract. After this period, and in the absence of written notice, the booking will be cancelled and the deposit will be retained by the campsite management.
2.2 Changing your booking request
No price reduction will be granted in the event of late arrival or early departure.
2.3 Cancellations
To be valid, any cancellation must be notified by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt.
If cancellation occurs more than 30 days before the start date of the stay, the deposit will be retained.
If cancellation occurs less than 30 days before the start date of the stay, the full amount of the stay will be retained.
2.4 Withdrawals
The legal provisions relating to the right of withdrawal in the case of distance selling, as provided for in the Consumer Code, do not apply to tourism services (Article L.121-20-4 of the French Consumer Code).
Therefore, for any booking of a stay with the campsite, the customer does not benefit from any right of withdrawal.
2.6 Cancellation Insurance
We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance. The cancellation guarantee provides reimbursement of sums paid when cancellation occurs between the booking date and the arrival date at the campsite due to an event that was unknown or unforeseeable at the time of booking, including:
Serious illness, serious accident, or death affecting a member of your family
Pregnancy complications before the 7th month
Significant material damage to your personal property requiring your mandatory presence
Redundancy (economic dismissal)
Accident or total theft of your vehicle and/or caravan occurring on the direct route to the holiday destination
Cancellation or modification of leave dates by the employer
Any refund request must be accompanied by precise and irrefutable supporting documents.
The cancellation guarantee is non-refundable.
Note: The campsite reserves the right to cancel this contract if subsequent changes occur (change of dates, participants, or number of participants).
Insurance rate: 4%
This amount is added to the deposit and applies to all persons registered for the stay.
Article 3 During your stay
3.1 Arrivals and departures
Arrivals are from 4:00 p.m.
Departures must take place before 10:00 a.m., on any day of the week.
3.2 Guarantee
A security deposit of €300 per accommodation unit will be required on the day of arrival. It will be refunded on the day of departure, during cash desk opening hours, after an inventory check.
Any damage costs will be added to the price of the stay, as well as cleaning charges if the accommodation is not left in perfectly clean condition.
If you are unable to attend the inventory check, the deposit will be returned by post.
3.3 Departures
Any key returned after 10:00 a.m. or pitch vacated after 11:00 a.m. will result in the charge of an additional night.
Any extension of stay must be requested at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure date.
3.4 Animals
One pet under 10 kg is allowed inside rental accommodations and on pitches. The animal must be tattooed and vaccinated.
Category 1 and 2 animals are not accepted. The applicable rate is indicated at the time of booking.
Pets must be kept on a leash at all times.
3.5 Policies and procedures
As required by law, you must comply with our internal regulations, filed with the Prefecture, displayed at reception, and available upon request.
Article 4 Liability
The campsite declines all responsibility for damage suffered by the camper’s or caravanner’s equipment caused by their own actions. Civil liability insurance covering your equipment is mandatory (FFCC, ANWB, ADAC, etc.).
Article 5 Applicable Law
These general terms and conditions are governed by French law. Any dispute relating to their application falls within the jurisdiction of the Judicial Court or the Commercial Court of Bayonne.
Article 6 – Disputes
If you have not been able to resolve your dispute after sending us a written complaint (by post or email), dated and detailing the circumstances giving rise to the dispute and what you are claiming, you may refer the matter to the consumer mediator designated below if:
You have received a negative written response from us; or
You have not received a response within two months of sending your complaint.
In accordance with Articles L.616-1 and R.616-1 of the French Consumer Code, our company has implemented a consumer mediation system.
