Château de Lacomté is a peaceful adults-only country club campsite set within 32 acres of unspoilt natural parkland in the heart of the Parc Naturel Régional des Causses du Quercy, a UNESCO-listed region in southwest France. Located just 12 km from Rocamadour and only 10 minutes from the A20 motorway (exit 56), the campsite combines tranquillity with excellent accessibility.
Situated along the historic St Jacques de Compostelle pilgrimage route, this quiet campsite in the Lot is ideal for couples and adults seeking relaxation, nature, and authentic French countryside living. The surrounding Lot and Dordogne Valleys are renowned for their dramatic limestone landscapes, medieval villages, local markets, and world-class gastronomy. The charming village of Carlucet is just 1.5 km away, making it easy to enjoy local culture while staying in a serene rural setting.
The campsite offers a variety of accommodation options including 83 spacious touring pitches, 4 mobile homes, 6 chalets, and 1 gîte, all designed to provide comfort in a calm, adults-only environment. An Excellent Club Site
Aspetti positivi: Well maintained in a splendid location. Swimming pool, bar and offers of evening meals - what more could you want. We have been visiting Chateau de Lacomte for many years and hope to continue to do so. Friendly, knowledgeable hosts.

Aspetti positivi: Lovely location in a lovely region. Very peaceful for the perfect rest. The owners are very helpful and friendly. The bar and restaurant are good quality at completive prices, over looking a fine clean pool. The on-site facilities are very clean, with each pitch - all an ample size, having fresh water, electricity and waste water drains. The whole site is within an 'Black Triangle', where you can view the stars without any light disturbance. Sit down, enjoy a drink and look upwards at the most fantastic light show from the heavens.

Aspetti positivi: Es un lugar maravilloso. La piscina es estupenda y la dueña y el dueño super amables y muy simpáticos. Estuvimos maravillosamente. Pudimos reservar el desayuno y el pan siempre que quisimos y las cenas estupendas. Todo estaba muy limpio.

Geweldig!!
Aspetti positivi: Heerlijke camping, fijn terras en zwembad. Prima eten door Sheila, vooral de gazpacho was mijn favoriet. Erg aardige en vriendelijke eigenaren (Stuart en Sheila) en medewerkers (Richard en Patricia).

Another Lovely Stay
Aspetti positivi: We have stayed here before and will do again. Stuart and Sheila are lovely hosts, it’s a great location, excellent food and with the comfort pitch we enjoyed exploring this beautiful part of France.
Da migliorare: WiFi and internet is absolutely fine at the pool and terrace but poor at the pitches.
