Camping Resort la Forêt

Designed for a clientele who wish to experience a truly peaceful holiday, close to the sea, the forest, hiking trails or the coastline as well as many bike paths, the Villas du Bois Marin offer a pedestrian site that is both carefully preserved and unique. It is ideal for relaxation with family or as a couple, with friends or colleagues, in an ecologically remarkable but also dynamic, sporty and cultural environment. Ideally located between the island of Noirmoutier, opposite the island of Yeu, 20 minutes from Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie near the famous 18-hole golf course of Saint-Jean-de-Monts (with sea views), you can also enjoy the services of Valdys thalassotherapy and the many Vendée restaurants.
At Villa du Bois Marin (by La Forêt campsite) in Vendée, everything has been taken into consideration for your tranquillity, but also for the preservation of this tourist territory that welcomes you.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
1. Registration:
All bookings will be effective and can only be confirmed upon receipt of the booking agreement (automatic online procedure by acknowledgement of confirmation) accompanied by payment, the amount of which varies according to the type of rental booked and the duration:

• booking of a rental: 30% of the stay + €30 of booking fees + (optional cancellation insurance 2.4% of the amount of the stay – minimum €8); balance 30 days before your arrival. No booking fees in April, May and September – €10 in June
• booking of a weekend: 30% of the stay and no booking fee
• booking of a camping pitch: 100€ Deposit + €30 booking fee in July and August + (optional cancellation insurance % of the amount of the stay); balance 30 days before arrival.

2) Booking:
Booking is considered final as soon as it has been confirmed by us. The balance of your stay will be paid as follows, otherwise the booking may be considered cancelled and the deposit retained.

• for rentals: full balance to be paid 30 days before your arrival. In the absence of payment of the balance within the aforementioned deadlines, the rental may be considered as automatically cancelled and all the amounts paid will be retained by LA FORET MTD and its trade name Camping la Forêt.
• For any booking of accommodation rental or pitch made less than 30 days before your arrival, you must pay the total amount of the rental or the site.
• For any booking made directly through the website www.hpa-laforet.com, down payments will be debited automatically if you use your credit card. Other means of payment such as bank transfers or the sending of holiday vouchers are also possible.
• For pitches: balance to be paid 30 days before arrival. Minors will only be able to stay if they have parental authorisation, and if they are accompanied by an adult, who will be responsible for them. When booking, special requests can be made. However, although Camping la Forêt will try its best to take these into account, we cannot guarantee being able to satisfy all requests.

3) Method of payment:
Accompanied by the signed booking agreement (except online reservation): Cheque or bank giro, money order, ANCV holiday vouchers (complete with tear-off strip), E-ancv cheque, credit card (16 digits + expiration date + CVV) for bookings via email, phone or Internet.

4) Tarifs:
Our prices include the rental of the pitch or the accommodation inclusive of VAT, and do not include TOURIST TAX, supplements such as undeclared animals, hiring of linen, various rentals, or the guarantee deposit for the rentals (€300, refundable upon departure according to condition).
Rates published by the campsite have no contractual value and may be modified without notice. The contractual price is that fixed at the time of booking. However, in the event of a pricing error – price manifestly low compared to the real value of the stay – (due to a computer problem or other), Camping la Forêt reserves the right to cancel the validated booking. This measure though would be exceptional.
5. Tourist tax:
This intercommunal tax is obligatory, and is collected upon your arrival at the rate in force and during the collection period (please consult).
6. Guarantee deposit:
For rentals: on arrival, a guarantee deposit of €300 will be required to ensure that the rented property is returned in GOOD CONDITION. This deposit will be returned on the day of departure, after taking an inventory, subject to missing or damaged equipment.
7) Pets:
With the exception of dangerous dogs of Categories I and II, and the so-called exotic pets (NAC – Nouveaux Animaux de Compagnie), pets are allowed on each of the campsites for an extra charge per day, provided that they have been registered at the time of booking. Animals must not disturb the tranquillity and safety of residents, and the basic rules of hygiene and the integrity of the installations must be respected (max. 2 – 35 kg per rental and pitch). Animals must always be kept on a leash within the campsite. Its current vaccination record must be presented, at the reception, on arrival. Pets are not allowed in the common areas of buildings, swimming pools and playgrounds. Animals must be taken out of the campsite for toiletry purposes.
8) Length of stay:
For rental of a Mobile home during the high season, the minimum length of stay is one week, i.e. 7 nights (Saturday arrival) from Saturday to Saturday. Arrival times in high season are between 4 pm and 8 pm (in case of delay please warn the campsite), and departures are between 8 am and 10 am. It is possible to rent at the weekend and for other periods outside of the high season.
For pitches during the high season, the minimum length of stay is 7 nights. Arrival times are from 2 pm to 8 pm, and departures before 12 noon.
NB: for reasons of security and insurance, it is forbidden to exceed the intended number of occupants for each rental or pitch. Anyone who exceeds the intended capacity will be denied access. Arrivals at pitches are daily between 2 pm and 8 pm, and departures before 12 noon.
9) Modification or cancellation: Upon receipt of the confirmation, all rentals are definitive and nominative.
a) Modification: Any modification to the agreement must be notified beforehand in writing by mail or email, and will only be possible after agreement by the campsite.
b) Insurance cover for cancellation and interruption of camping stay. It is recommended that you take out cancellation and interruption insurance. (Without cancellation insurance, a cancellation will not give rise to any refund).
-The insurance premium must be fully paid upon booking the stay, and is non-refundable.
-In the event of a claim, you must notify the company within 5 days of the incident.

-The insurance for cancellation and interruption of stay will refund all amounts paid before arrival at the stay (subject to terms and conditions). In case of interruption of stay, the amount of the unused part will be calculated pro-rata temporis of the reserved stay.
10) Disturbances and nuisances: Each guest is liable for disturbances and nuisances caused by people staying on his or her pitch or in his or her accommodation. If a guest disturbs or causes nuisance to other residents or compromises the integrity of the installations, his or her stay may be terminated immediately and without compensation, without prejudice to any claim for damages that the campsite and third parties might make. This also applies if the campsite notes an abusive occupation of its accommodation and its pitches (number of persons higher than the announced capacity of the accommodation)
11) Liability: Beyond its legal liability, the liability of the campsite cannot be invoked in the event of:

• Theft, loss or damage of any kind during or after a stay.
• Technical equipment broken down or out of order, breakdown or closure of installations.
• Damage caused or suffered by vehicles of residents parking and circulating within the campsite.

12) Swimming pool:
Any breach of the rules in force at the pool will result in the perpetrator being banned. Children under 14 years old are not allowed in the Jacuzzi.
13) Barbecue: Electric barbecues are prohibited on the whole campsite. Charcoal barbecues are subject to prefectural authorisations, and a collective and secure place will be at your disposal.

14) Car and bicycle, electric or hybrid:
The campsite will not be liable for damages that are the consequence of a connection to the installations (terminals) intended to provide electricity in our establishment. A specific electricity package is applied for anyone wishing to connect this type of equipment.
15) Image rights:
You authorise the campsite to use photos of you and/or your children that may be taken during your stay, on any type of medium, for purposes of communication by Camping La Forêt, without any compensation.
16) Right of withdrawal: Pursuant to Article L. 121-20-4 -2 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to accommodation and leisure activities provided to a customer on a specific date or at a specific periodicity. Consequently, any orders made on the website www.hpa-laforet.com or via a telephone receptionist cannot be the subject of a right of withdrawal.
17) Customer service:
In the event of a dispute, and after having contacted the management of Camping la Forêt, any customer of the campsite has the possibility of make a complaint to a consumer mediator, within a maximum of one year from the date of the written claim, sent by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt, against the operator. 18) Compliance with the rights of users:
In accordance with the IT and Freedoms law of the 6th of January 1978, as amended in 2004, you have the right to access and rectify information concerning you, which you can exercise by contacting SARL LA FORET MTD 190 chemin de la Rive 85160 Saint Jean de Monts. You may also, for legitimate reasons, refuse the processing of your personal data. Within the context of the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), in application from the 25th of May 2018, the personal data collected by Camping la Forêt is used by the internal services LA FORET MTD for administrative and commercial management purposes (e.g. booking, customer satisfaction, newsletter, etc.), and is only kept for the period strictly necessary for the aforementioned processing, according to the purposes, and within the limits imposed by law. This means that the duration can vary between a few days and several years. -The provisions of the law of the 17th of March 2014, known as the Hamon law allow you to register for free on an official list, which is available on the Bloctel website, to express your refusal to telephone canvassing.
