GENERAL RENTAL CONDITIONS


Pitch hire • To secure a booking for a pitch, we request a signed contract, 30% of total holiday price, plus 15€ reservation fee. • Balance must be paid 30 days before arrival. • Payment may be made by cheque payable to “SARL MVF”, holiday vouchers, credit card or postal order. • All bookings are personal. It is forbidden to sublet to a third party. • Booking is secured as soon as you receive written confirmation from us. The latter must be shown on arrival. • If you are late and do not inform us of your delay within 48h, the management reserves the right to re-let the pitch and the monies paid will not be refunded. • No refund or reduction will be given for departures before end of holiday or late arrivals, whatever the reasons may be. • Pitches are available from 2p.m. and must be vacated by 12p.m. on departure date. • A maximum of 5 persons per pitch is permitted. • A 20€ pledge will be asked upon your arrival for the swipe card of access the campsite and kept in case of loss. Rentals • To secure a booking for a rental, (mobile home, caravan or canvas bungalow), we request a signed contract, 30% of total holiday price, plus 15€ reservation fee. • Balance must be paid one month before your arrival. • Payment may be made by cheque payable to “SARL MVF”, holiday vouchers, credit card or postal order. • All bookings are personal. It is forbidden to sublet to a third party. • Booking is secured as soon as you receive written confirmation from us. The latter must be shown on arrival. • Any change of contract must be made known 6 weeks prior to arrival. • Each rental is fitted to accommodate 5 persons, corresponding to the number of berths (mentioned in the description). It is forbidden to exceed the number of occupants registered on the contract (any extra person will be refused admission). • No unit will be accepted on the hired pitch without the management's permission. • If you are late and do not inform us of your delay within 48h, the management reserves the right to re-let the rental and the monies paid will not be refunded. • No refund or reduction will be given for departures before end of holiday or late arrivals, whatever the reasons may be. • Rentals may be made weekly, per weekend or nightly, in the low season, arrival times may vary, with the management's permission. • In the high season, rentals are Saturday to Saturday, from 3p.m. and departures up to 10p.m. on departure day. • A 200€ guarantee deposit will be requested on arrival to cover possible damage to your rental as well as a 70€ supplementary guarantee deposit to cover cleaning charges (unless you chose the cleaning package). Both deposits will be returned by post the week after your departure upon inspection on departure day. • Animals are admitted in the rentals at a charge of 40 € per week (less 5kg in the mobil-home). • In the event of cancellation, written notification must be given. The effective date of cancellation will be the date we receive your written instructions. You shall incur: - the reservation fee, - as an indemnity for breach of contract: 30% of total holiday cost (corresponding to down payment already paid) if you cancel 15 days prior to arrival date; full holiday price should you cancel less than 16 days prior to arrival date or fail to arrive at that date.

Services at extra charge • Washing and drying machine • Cleaning package: 70€ • High chair or cot • Animals are not allowed. Visitors are welcome but must, first of all, check in at reception and leave their car at the entrance. Visitors are under the camper's responsibility and must pay a visitor's fee if they stay more than two hours. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE RULES AFTER WARNING WILL RESULT IN EXPULSION WITHOUT REFUND OF THE AMOUNT OF STAY Occupants are under the obligation to take out a valid insurance policy to cover their equipment, tent or caravan as the Pont Rouge campsite will not be held responsible in case of theft, loss or damage of any nature during or as a result of your stay. The management shall only be held responsible for belongings left at reception.

In case of controversy the Court of Les Sables d'Olonne has sole competent jurisdiction.
