We had the pleasure of touring the Lake District and southwest Scotland for three weeks in July with Carl’s "Poppy." It was a wonderful trip, featuring a fantastic motorhome and an excellent owner. Carl is very friendly, thoroughly conscientious, and knowledgeable—and always available to answer questions. Poppy took us everywhere safely and comfortably. It was a joy to glide through the countryside with the fully automatic transmission, aided by a reversing camera and equipped with everything necessary. The driving experience itself really puts you in the holiday mood. Poppy handled four ferry crossings without a hitch. Just be sure to look after Poppy and check beforehand whether the ramps are suitable for such a substantial motorhome; we always checked in advance, and it worked out perfectly every time. You really have everything you need on board. The pots were on the smaller side, but perfectly adequate. We are completely satisfied, including with the entire rental process. Everything about the experience felt right. We can highly recommend both Carl and Poppy. Wir durften drei Wochen im Juli mit Carls Poppy den Lake District und den Südwesten Schottlands bereisen. Poppy hat uns sicher und komfortabel überall hin begleitet. Es war ein Genuss, mit dem vollkommenen Automatikgetriebe, versorgt mit Rückfahrkamera und allem Nötigen, durch die Gegenden zu gleiten. So kommt beim Fahren schon Urlaubsgefühl auf. 4 Fähren hat Poppy gemeistert. Ohne Probleme. Aber gebt bitte acht auf Poppy und erkundigt euch, ob die Rampen für das stattliche Wohnmobil passen. Wir haben uns vorher immer erkundigt und es hat immer gepasst. Ihr habt wirklich alles am Bord was ihr braucht. Ka die Töpfe waren etwas kleiner, aber ausreichend. Wir sind voll zufrieden, auch mit der Abwicklung. Alles gibt ein gutes Gefühl. Wir können auch Carl und Poppy nirgends empfehlen.

Poppy’s Delight is a lovely motorhome with everything you’d need for a great getaway. Spacious, modern and clean with all the amenities of a little holiday cottage, with the added bonus of being on wheels! Carl is a great guy and very conscientious when it comes to handover. The motorhome is obviously his pride and joy and it shows. We took it to Haverigg and were impressed at how quickly we got used to driving it. Thanks Carl (and Poppy) for renting us your motorhome - we had a fantastic time and it made my birthday weekend really special.

We had an absolutely fantastic two-week trip exploring Cornwall, Devon, and the Cotswolds on our way back up north. It was myself, my wife, and our two children, and the motorhome was perfect for us — a great size, ideal layout, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. Carl was brilliant throughout the whole process — really responsive, helpful, and happy to answer every question we had. He was also very understanding and accommodating when we ran into traffic on the way back for drop-off, which made things much less stressful. We wouldn’t hesitate to hire again and are already thinking about where to head next!

We hired Poppy's delight for the week and took her around the nc500 in Scotland. We had the best time. There was 6 of us and there was plenty of space. A home away from home. Carl was really helpful throughout the whole holiday and made everything really simple and easy. Would highly recommend!

Carl was a star. With his extensive knowledge, he made it easy for us to complete our first-ever campervan trip smoothly. The van was spacious and had all the amenities we needed for Scotland trip. I highly recommend him to everyone. We will definitely book again when needed.

We had a fantastic experience renting this motorhome. The vehicle was spotless, well-maintained, and fully equipped, making our trip comfortable and stress-free from start to finish. A special mention to Carl, who was incredibly supportive throughout the whole process — from booking to handover and even during the trip. His clear communication, friendliness, and willingness to help made a huge difference and gave us complete peace of mind. Highly recommended, and we wouldn’t hesitate to rent again!
