What an excellent experience from start to finish. Tiff introduced me to Valerie and, aware I had a long drive ahead of me up to Scotland via the Lakes, kept it short and sweet, but covered all the important details. Valerie is a very well-looked after N reg, and although she's not the fastest off the line, she makes up for it in all the right places: well set-up inside, and easy to live with. Tiff and Chris provided me with an airbeam awning and camping chairs for no additional cost - which I didn't actually use, in the end! Tiff was more than happy for me to carry my bike inside Valerie, as she doesn't have an external bike carrier. I spent peaceful nights on the shores of Ullswater and Loch Loch Lomond, bookending a week in North Ledaig during the final Clipper Race 2023-24 stopover, catching up with my crewmates on Perseverance, before they embarked on the last race, down to the Finish in Portsmouth. All-in-all, a really smooth and trouble-free trip (apart from a 3.5hr standstill on the M6 on the way back!) Luglio 2024
