Well, I don't think we could have hired a camper from a nicer man for our first campervan trip. Jason was super helpful and very accommodating with dates and times for handover and handback. He went through everything thoroughly such that we had all the information we needed to set off confidently. He even went the extra mile and let us have some information on potential routes around Scotland. First rate! The campervan itself was meticulously clean, tidy, neatly laid-out and fully functional. As well as having all the hook-up equipment you would expect, the van also comes with solar roof panel (not that WE saw much sun!) and high-capacity batteries. Jason also provided an additional power-bank in case of emergencies. So, for our trip, power was never an issue and there are USB ports all over the place for those portable device charging needs. We did have an issue with one of the toughened glass covers that go over the cooker and sink. It cracked, then shattered. However, far from kicking up a fuss about the panel, Jason was more worried about us and making sure we were ok and unharmed; a proper gentleman. In summary, despite our particular trip being particularly wet and windy, we had a great time exploring the highlands and lochs of Scotland. A good deal of that was down to having a reliable campervan and a great backup in the form of its owner Jason. I couldn't recommend him highly enough. Settembre 2024
