Land Rover

We were the first renters of Kevin's great Black Betty. A beast of a Defender that gave us three days of fun. The interaction with Kevin was great: fast, to the point and problem solving. The car is ideal for up to 4 people. It has state of the art technology: built-in fridge, pull-out gas stove, a 270° roof tent, .... It is difficult to think of what is not in it, or Kevin has provided it.

Kevin is very pleasant to work with, and the handover went smoothly. We traveled through the Balkans for three weeks in his Land Rover Defender with our family of five. It was a wonderful trip with many kilometers and plenty of camping spots. The car drives well, although it takes some getting used to. It handles off-road and uphill with ease. Kevin immediately addresses a few minor issues. You do need a bit of dexterity to travel with this beautiful car. Folding the tent requires some patience and skill (especially zipping it up), especially if, like us, you have to do it every day while traveling. But it's worth it: it's wonderful to sleep in the rooftop tent. The mattress is comfortable, and the tents are wonderfully cool. The kitchen and refrigerator work well, but it's handy to bring an extension cord if you're traveling in very hot weather and/or staying in the same place for several days so you can plug the cooler into the mains. Oh, and if you don't like being noticed, you'd better not choose this eye-catching piece. People will stare at you everywhere, and at the campsite, people will come and admire your "equipment." 😀 The only downside: having to tell them it's not yours but just rented 😅.

Talk about a unique experience! Kevin's Land Rover has everything you need for a fantastic weekend. Everything you need is included. Two very spacious roof tents with comfortable mattresses, a top-notch kitchenette, and a large fridge/freezer. The luxury extra battery with USB and 230V ensures you have nothing to worry about. What's more, Kevin takes the time to thoroughly explain everything. In short, a top Defender with a top boss with a lot of experience.

Last weekend we went out as a family of five with a Land Rover Defender and rooftop tent, rented through Goboony – and it was a fantastic experience! The Goboony app is very user-friendly, and the financial process went very smoothly. Contact with Kevin, the vehicle owner, was also very pleasant, smooth, and efficient. Upon pickup, we received a comprehensive and clear explanation, which immediately gave us peace of mind. The Defender itself was a joy to drive. It was exceptionally well-equipped: everything you need for a five-person camping trip was there – from sturdy tents and good kitchen equipment to a handy awning to stay dry under in a rain shower. In short: an original, adventurous, and comfortable way to get away from it all. Definitely worth repeating!

We had a wonderful weekend with the Black Betty. As Defender fans, we were in our element. Very well equipped with a comfortable sleeping spot on the roof. Pleasant and smooth communication with the owner. Worth repeating!
