A fantastic week away in Charlie's VW campervan! The van was complete with all of the latest features to make our road trip one to remember. Driving the van was as smooth as a car and very comfortable to sleep in also. Agosto 2024

We loved the campervan. Charlie was really friendly and helpful at drop off and collection. The campervan was really clean and had a good briefing on how everything worked. It rained a lot the weekend that we had it, and we were delighted with the diesel heater to warm us up! Well equipped, really comfortable, kids loved it. Very happy customers. Luglio 2024

This 'man and van' were top notch. Charlie was great at communicating and did a great job at explaining where everything was etc. The van really is a touch of luxury and drives like a dream. Being factory built there's not a squeak or rattle and the only roll is from the 'rock and roll' bed! Giugno 2024

Everything went smoothly with Charlie. He was waiting for us on time and had a small gift for the trip. He was very clear with the instructions and tricks for using the van and communicative throughout the whole trip. The van is a beauty, it has everything you need and drives very easily. I had a fantastic 10 day trip with my two children in this lovely, high-spec California Ocean. We spent 2 nights in Paris (Huttopia Versailles), 2 nights in Lake Annecy (Les Fontaines) and then spent 3 nights in Chatel & Morzine following the Tour de France. On the way back to the UK we stopped off at Castel Camping Château de l'Epervière before getting the Eurotunnel back to the UK. We particularly enjoyed the great soundsytem for Spotify roadtrip playlists! I give Charlie and the Campervan 5 stars for a great service including clear communication before and after the vehicle hire. I'll certainly be using again if it's available. Luglio 2022

I hired the van to take my Nephew to Knebworth. It was great, Fuel efficent, Clean and fully kitted out. Spacious and comfortable. Charlie gave me a thorough onboarding session. My Nephew was lived the campervan dream, and I would highly recommend and definitely use it again. Giugno 2022

Really nice and very high spec van, in great condition, clean, tidy and exactly as described - Charlie was easy to deal with and quick to respond - would definitely recommend, and we would book this van again in the future - 2 very happy adults and kids after this trip! Aprile 2022

We had a very bad experience with Charlie. The van is fantastic and new brand, but I wouldn't rent with him anymore. - When we picked the van up, we realised the pressure of the wheels wasn’t correct. We immediately told him (it was evident just with a quick visual inspection), but he promised he had just recently passed a van revision and everything was fine and the whole van had been checked, including the pressure on the wheels. He also promised the water tank was full and the gas bottle filled. We drove over 230miles that night on our trip. The day after, we were boiling some pasta for lunch but after a few minutes the gas stopped working. We checked the gas lever to find the problem, and we realised it was closed. Basically, the gas lever didn't work and you could even cook when it was closed, and we had been sleeping in the van with the gas system completely open. This is very dangerous as you can be intoxicated if there's a gas escape. We called Charlie to explain to him the gas system wasn't working and he promised the gas bottle was full. We checked everything, and he kept telling us he had sent the van to be fully checked. After 2hours checking the gas system and trying to find a solution, even with video calls showing him what we were doing, we went to a gas station where they told us the bottle was completely empty. Also, the water tank was completely empty the pressure on the wheels was wrong. It should had been 3.1 and the pressure was 2.3 (see photos). - The van was very dirty with pet's hair everywhere, dust, and food left on the sink. The mugs and pans were dirty and rusty(see photos). He said he was providing us with a pan so we didn't take any of our pans with us, therefore we had no pan to cook during our trip. - The car cigarette lighter didn't work so we couldn't charge our phones using this plug. The car screen didn't work, so we couldn't connect our phone to put music or turn the radio on. - We told him we wanted to pick the van up at 4pm on Thursday and return it at 9 o 10 pm on Monday, and he agreed. I asked several times, because without these conditions we would have rented another van. He agreed with that and said the pick up and return times were fine. But on Sunday he told us we had to return the van earlier - like 6 or 7pm- because he was renting it to a family that needed the van as soon as we arrived in London (we guess with no time to clean as he did with our renting). When we arrived at his address, he didn't talk to me or look into my eyes at all. I had been dealing with him about all the problems of the van, I was the one renting it, and who always was on the phone with him. He instead talked to my boyfriend when i spoke to him. Aprile 2022
