Returning the van:
Return with a full tank of diesel. If not, refuelling plus a £15 admin fee will be charged to your deposit.
Bring him back reasonably clean inside. A quick tidy is fine, but excessive mess, spills or stains may incur a cleaning charge from £50.
Make sure to empty the fridge.
Smoking and vaping:
No smoking or vaping anywhere in the van. Evidence of either means a £150 deep-clean charge.
Pets:
Well behaved dogs are very welcome. Please keep them off the seating and beds, use a blanket or cover, and clear up any hair, mud or mess before return. Pet damage or extra cleaning will be charged to your deposit.
Driving and travel:
Travel abroad, mountains and wintersport are all fine. Just let us know your plans in advance so we can sort the right insurance and breakdown cover.
Festivals are by prior arrangement, so please ask before booking for one.
The named driver(s) on the insurance are the only people permitted to drive.
No off-roading, green-laning or wading through deep water or floods.
Looking after Oakley:
Please respect the pop-top roof. Lower it fully and clip it down before driving, and never force it.
Use the gas, hob and heater as shown at handover, and turn the gas off at the bottle when not in use.
Any new damage, warning lights or mechanical issues, please call us straight away rather than pressing on.
Smoking, pet and cleaning charges, plus any damage, fuel shortfall or fines and tolls incurred during your hire, will be deducted from the security deposit.
Treat Oakley like your own and you'll have a brilliant trip. Any questions before you set off, just ask.
