We want you to enjoy our van but we do require a few house rules…..

Fuel:
Ernest will be handed over with a full tank of diesel; please return in the same way. A charge for fuel plus a small convenience fee will apply if he’s returned short.
The “wrong fuel” rule: please double check! Ernest is a diesel engine. Any mis-fueling costs are the responsibility of the hirer.

Cleanliness & care:
We take pride in Ernest’s condition, please return the interior in a clean and tidy manner.
Please avoid cooking strong smells in the van.
Please remove all rubbish and food waste too.

Safety & Logsitcs:
Off reading: whilst the can loves an adventure he is not a 4x4. Please stick to recognised roads and campsite tracks- no beach driving or heavy off roading.
Late returns: please communicate! Let us know as a late return may affect the next hired and could incur a fee.
Accidents/damage: we know things happen but please let us know ( broken mugs, scratches or technical issues) we can then make sure we can gets parts ordered for the next guest!
