Lyndsay was absolutely lovely and Penelope was the perfect home for our family for our dream road trip around the Scottish Highlands and Islands. The van was immaculate, equipped with far more than we needed and incredibly comfy beds! Our first foray into van life and we would very happily rent Penelope again from Lindsay. Top notch!

We have just returned from our weeks holiday in Penelope a beautiful VW Camper van. The process from start to finish could not have been easier. Our hosts Lyndsay and Paul were so helpful, answering any questions we had. Penelope was immaculately clean when we pick her up and came fully kitted out with everything you needed. Lyndsay and Paul even supplied a welcome hamper with lovely treats in, I could not recommend them enough.

First time in a campervan and we loved it. The van was well equipped and clean even if we could not get a reception for the TV. We suggest you check beforehand if you want to do any serious cooking as storage space is limited! Driving was relatively easy even on the back roads of the North York Moors. Lyndsey and partner were very helpful including having to sort out a battery issue before we could drive it away! We would hire again.

This was our first go with a campervan and this was a great choice. Easy to drive and park, well equipped and the blinds/awning/chairs/bbq etc all made for a great trip. Lyndsay was generous and flexible which made it all very easy.

Our first time camper trip was an amazing experience. We found Penelope a lovely T6 VW camper owned locally but Lyndsay & Paul who were invaluable to answer all the first timer questions & provide a relaxed reassurance along the way. Me & my partner Jill are now preparing to invest in our own van having loved the freedom & experience the van gave us. Penelope’s an amazing van & comes fully fitted out with everything you would need, including a lovely welcome hamper & even charcoal for the barby. Fully recommend 5 Stars👌

We hired this camper van for a weekend in the Lake District. It was a wet and rainy weekend so we were particularly grateful for the canopy. We found the van clean and comfortable. We also found the welcome hamper a nice touch, and was greatly appreciated. We also found Lyndsay and her partner very welcoming and took as much time as needed to show us round the van. We would definitely hire again.
