Terry was very helpful in the lead up and on the day. We had a full handover from him which was super useful as being in a VW campervan was new to us. We were experimenting, with the possibility of buying one in the future. We hired for 4 nights and went from Hampshire to Cornwall and Devon. We stayed in a quiet campsite near Lydford which was perfect for us. The weather wasn't great; rain and fog tested our resolve about van life, especially as absolutely everything had to be done outside - apart from sleeping! We've always enjoyed camping, and this was similar being outside immediately you wake up which is a great way to start the day. We're undecided about whether to buy ourselves, but learned a huge amount from our trip. Terry's VW campervan drew admiration and conversations from other campers. It's beautifully kept, clean and clearly proudly looked after. We would recommend Terry as a host, it's quite something to hand over a precious van and put your trust in strangers, so we really appreciated that. Giugno 2026
