A great first experience of a camper van. Lorraine was excellent, quick to respond to our messages and provided all the information we needed to enjoy a few days in Norfolk.
There was everything we needed for our short break included and the event shelter was a valuable addition allowing us to enjoy a bit more space.

We hired Monty for a long weekend visiting the Norfolk coast so didn't have to drive that far, just to a campsite 50 miles away. Having had no previous experience of campervans I was initially apprehensive but have to say that this vehicle made both the journey and the 3 night stay all the more enjoyable and a great alternative to camping in a tent; especially in October!!
As per the other reviews we found it very easy to drive, not much different to a car or transit van and easily powerful enough to handle more ambitious travel destinations in my opinion. The high up driving position, big windscreen and massive side mirrors made for great visibility too - even driving down narrow country lanes was easy.
Lorraine was great, both in her communication prior to our trip - answering all my questions about Monty's various features and accessories and also giving us a full demonstration of the technicalities, e.g. popping up the roof and rotating the passenger seat, and explaining the 240V electric hook-up connection, etc. Massive thanks to Lorraine and her husband for hiring us this campervan.
In conclusion, I would highly recommend anyone to hire Monty, whether you are considering a short trip like ours or something more adventurous, you'll find it makes your trip much more fun!

Monty was our first campervan experience. He is well equipped with everything you need for a great break. We loved the nippy engine making him a pleasure to drive. He handles well even if you have only ever driven a car you will have no problem with Monty, his owners are friendly and helpful. You won't go hiring Monty.

We had the best time away with Monty completing the NC 500 in Scotland. Monty was super easy to drive, comfortable to chill and sleep in and had all the camping gear you could need! We really only needed to take ourselves and some clothes! Lorraine and Peter were both really friendly and helpful. They provided a full tutorial on Monty and were always quick to respond to message before and during our trip.
We would definitely use Monty again and have plans to in the not to distant future <3

We have had an awesome holiday in Monty travelling to North Wales and the Peak District! The handover process was simple and straightforward and allowed us to get on with our holiday without delay.
Monty was a dream to drive, powerful on the hills and comfortable for all.
Everything we could’ve needed was thought of, right down to washing up liquid and tea towels, we really only needed our clothes, sleeping bags and toothbrushes!!
The awning was simple to put up and provided us with a good amount of space.
We travelled as a family of 4, with 2 young children experiencing their first camping holiday. Monty made it a really fun adventure for us all, and we would wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a great van to travel in.
Lorraine and Peter were really helpful and answered all our queries and questions to make the journey as straightforward as possible. Thank you!

My partner and I hired the camper for just three nights to see how we got on with camping in a van rather than a tent. We had a great time with our short travels (approx 150miles) and the camper performed perfectly, we didn’t use many of the extras, awning, loo and fridge but everything we used worked as it should and all was very comfortable. Lorraine was very helpful and accommodating so absolutely no complaints, the jury is still out re selling our tent to part fund a camper of our own but would not hesitate to contact Lorraine another time.

Using Monty was very enjoyable and simple to use thanks the thorough explanation videos provided by Lorraine. Pick up and drop off were convenient and the booking process was easy and hassle free. We took the plunge of packing up 2 adults, a baby and a dog along with all the bits and pieces that entails and had a really enjoyable 2 nights away thanks to Montys ease of use. Monty was an absolute joy to travel and stay in, is an extremely comfortable drive and handled the hills around Peak District and Northumberland with ease. Lorraine and Pete are just the nicest and most accommodating people, I had numerous questions before our trip as this is the first time my wife and I have travelled this way and all were answered promptly, any information you required about the van Pete made his self available to answer any questions whilst we were away. Monty was comfortable to stay in and the awning supplied with it is easy to fix up giving you that additional storage space if required. Monty is also economical on fuel, we enjoyed every minute and would highly recommend hiring this camper van as the service provided by Lorraine and Pete was top notch, everything you needed was supplied….Justvtake your clothes 8-) 10/10 service and supply. Many thanks for making our first road trip a memorable experience.

The van is a great spec and was immaculate when we picked it up
The owners couldn't have done any more for us and even did a video call when we had a few queries in set up

As someone who has'nt been in a campervan for years, I was pleased to note that "Monty" lived up to expectations. The help and advice we received from Lorraine and the family was perfect. There was every thing we needed for the trip plus more. The van was everything Lorraine said it would be and certainly powerful enough for the steep country roads of Cornwall. Lorraine and Peter were friendly and always quick to repond to my many questions, despite how trivial . Highly recommended these owners.
