They were available and helpful when we needed assistance during the trip. They both were friendly. Kitchen was well equipped. It was well thought out to include BBQ and folding chairs, tables in the motorhome!

I would love to give this five stars as the owners were so lovely. We rented dolly for the bank holiday weekend and it was exactly what we were looking for, plenty of space, clean and the amenities you need, even included bedsheets which a lot of camper hires don’t. However, there were a number of things that were broken. I know it’s due to back to back hires but it really did affect our experience unfortunately. The bathroom door handle broke (which we were warned it was a bit broken from the previous hire but it was very broken) resulting in the five year old with us getting stuck in there for quite a long time and mum and dad really panicking. The bathroom window was also broken so we couldn’t get through from that side either. One of the window blinds was broken so we couldn’t close the light out completely and two out of the four camp chairs also broken so we couldn’t actually sit outside, we didn’t use the awning or anything. The other bits and bobs were minor issues and didn’t bother us at all and we were pre-warned about the breakages when we arrived on pick up. The owners were very communicative and flexible in the run up and after which was great but you hire and pay a price based on the camper as it is advertised and unfortunately Dolly wasn’t in the condition as advertised. We would hire her again as long as we could be sure everything had been fixed.

Hi there we r very sorry for the issue but unfortunately when dolly's returned with damage we try to get them resolved ASAP but when she gets back at 10 am and the go's back out at 1 pm and we r not told about damage b for hand make it very difficult to get them sorted the bath room window has arrived and will b fitted this week . With moterhome parts can take up to 12 weeks to arrive . we now have a few days b 4 dolly go's back out so she is booked in to get all the issue sorted this week thank u and we look forward to c u again 💗

We loved our time in Dolly. Was the best family holiday we have ever had! The owners were awesome and super supportive with all our first timer questions. If you are thinking about van life - do it with these guys and in Dolly - well worth it! #doitwithDolly

We enjoyed 2 weeks in Dolly doing the coastlines of the UK, we being 4 adults, 2 dogs and a 4 month old and we really did have the best time! Pros: Spacious Modern Drives well Good in all terrains Comfy as passengers Communication from Pretty and Carl was great and responsive. Warm inside so a big pro for the cooler months if travelling. Everything you need is inside for essentials such as utensils, cutlery, cleaning etc Lots of storage Shower is seperate to toilet and sink area which makes an enjoyable wash rather than others we have stayed in where showers pulls from sink or is all in one. We didn’t use the awning as we were on the go a lot but it was a great addition for if setting up for a few days as well as the camping chairs etc provided. Cons: Could do with an ‘idiots guide’ to the general use of things rather than referring to the main manual. We had an issue with no hot water for a few days but it was a simple fix and could have been a quick fix if we’d have had the guide. The heater for the vehicle is under the double table bed and it get VERY warm when sleeping so you’ll need a fan, we had the temperature set at the lowest too. Beds so uncomfortable to sleep on for a long trip so would reccomend mattress toppers to take with you. Few things needed addressing for our trip; grill, break sensor, door, limited chemicals, broken windows but due to back to back bookings time wasn’t made to ensure these were resolved. Bottom draw didn’t shut in kitchen so we had to wedge this closed with our cases. Lots of sites at camps and wild we visited required a lot of leveling so bigger ramps would have been better so that we could be flat. We would definitely use Dolly again for our travels.

Hi thanks for your comments we will address them issues as soon as we can the new window has arrived but we could not get it fitted due to it Bing double booked we did put mattresses topers on the bunk beds last summer regarding the level ramps most hiers keep to regular sits and I think if thay were any higher may b a problem for hiers not uesd to using them but we will get these miner bit sorted as soon as dolly comes free and again thanks for your feed back 😀

The whole process was great and everything was explained in detail by the owners. They were always quick to respond to any queries I had. The motorhome was excellent with a few minor issues which were all in the process of being fixed. Nevertheless it was very comfortable for our large family of 7 and was a joy to drive.

What a lovely experience we had hiring Dolly for the Easter weekend. This was our first experience in a Campervan and we were nervous and excited. The hosts were warm and friendly and couldn’t do enough to help us. The handover instructions were really great and Dolly was immaculately clean. She was a dream to drive and warm and cosy to sleep on. She’s a luxurious Campervan and everything onboard was so easy to use and we had such a great time in her, we kept her local as it was our first experience in a Campervan but now we know the ropes we cannot wait to take her out again in June. Thanks to Carl, Dolly and family for all your hard work in keeping Dolly beautiful and making our Easter weekend so special :) xxxx

Great service, friendly and knowledgeable. The vehicle was perfect for our trip and drove really well. inside it was clean and spacious and well equipped for our requirements. We went to Belgium and France, owners were really helpful in advice and supplying the required paperwork. We are definitely hooked and can't wait for our next travels.

What a pleasure , from the meeting and explanations as to how things worked to the handing over at the end. The camper van is ideal and Carl and Poppy couldn’t have been friendlier. We were 5 adults for 10 days with a lot of rain and the camper van was just right. It drives well and is economical and will squeeze through the lanes of Devon despite its capacity for up to 7 people. Best to you both, Jeremy, Ann and the family

A good camper let down by poor maintenance, and missing the basics for a comfortable trip. Only half of the bedding was supplied. Cooking utensils (baking trays, bowls ect.) either, old dirty, very low budget or broken. BBQ was filthy. The camper had only 4 outside chairs for a 7 birth (2 were broken). Tiny outside table, so eating outside wasn’t an option. Disappointed by the whole experience.

We had a great experience hiring Dolly. Carl was super accommodating, and provided a great preparation and instructional session. The motorhome itself was really great, comfortable, and spacious. The only thing we would have benefited from was a bigger outside table and chairs, but overall it was excellent.

We had a fantastic week in Dolly. The van is immaculately kept, and unlike many vans I've seen, the interior is very stylish. Dolly and Carl gave a comprehensive tour of the van when I collected it, and were very quick to respond when we had queries while we were away. We will definitely be booking Dolly again in the future!

All went very smoothly from start to finish, Payment system was confusing at final payment, Be careful to add any drivers early as possible as cut off point is earlier than first suggested, otherwise my first Motor home experience was great! Mark.

Dolly & Carl's motorhome delights in every way! Very new and in tip top shape, with all the features as listed, save for the TV that was not functional but we hardly needed it with all the joys of living al-fresco. Enough, sizeable beds that easily gave comfort to 4 adults, 2 teens and 2 bambinos. Decent sized bathroom, versatile kitchen, and a very smooth and effortless drive even for a virgin motorhome driver like we were. Great rear view camera. The owners are very personable and generous to a fault - including responding to a question at 11pm!!! (mmmh.. loss of electric connectivity, so well... yes, on reflection one could call that a little trivial, sorry Dolly & Carl). All in all, we had a fabulous trip to Silverstone and will forever remember Dolly with fondness.
