Had a fantastic trip up in Scotland exploring the North Coast 500 route. Just out of season which made the roads a lot more pleasant to travel on. The camper (Stan) ticked every box needed for the trip, comfortable, reliable & cosy. James the host was outstanding, very welcoming and gave us a great briefing on all the key points to make the most of Stan. I will definitely rebook through James in the future and would highly recommend for anyone looking for a camper to hire for a NC500 adventure! Ottobre 2023

James was so helpful and quick to answer questions, and even dropped us to the station after we’d returned the van so we didn’t miss our train! My bf and I just did the NC500 road trip in Ollie and it was excellent! Ollie had everything we needed, and the heater was appreciated, as it can get very cold in Scotland. Our journey through the Scottish Highlands was nothing short of brilliant, all thanks to the exceptional experience of renting "Stan," James' remarkable campervan. From the very beginning, James went above and beyond to ensure our adventure was smooth and memorable. As for Stan, the campervan, it left us absolutely thrilled. Beyond our expectations, it was not just a mode of transportation; it was a home away from home. Stan came fully equipped with everything we could possibly need, and driving it was an absolute joy. Navigating the scenic Highlands became a breeze, and it amplified the enjoyment of exploring the awe-inspiring landscapes. I can't emphasize enough how much I recommend James and Stan. What a wonderful 5 day adventure travelling to the Western Isles in Eric. The van was clean and well kept.....perfectly fitted with all you may need to go off grid. The bed was super comfortable with everything super easy to use. James was lovely, really helpful and very relaxed. Totally recommended James and his fleet of vans. Eric had all we needed. We could travel all roads as the van is never too big. You can even camp on designated sites if you don't mind not having a toilet and a shower for a night. James was easy to reach for anything we needed ( we only had a hiccup with the alarm on the first day which was easily solved). We definetely will book again to explore Scotland further. Stan the van was an excellent mobile accommodation for our adventure along the NC500. James was friendly and approachable who gave us an easy tutorial on how Stan works and sets up which made the whole experience much easier, any questions or concerns we had he was quick to reply. James made the process effortless and enjoyable, he was friendly, relaxed and so helpful! The van was spotless and very well maintained. James explained and gave us an in depth tour of the van before driving away on our trip. There was even an information guide in the van if we forget anything. The van itself was well equipped with everything you need for a road trip, outside seating & table, bedding, crockery and basic toiletries such as washing up Liquid and loo roll (from previous campers) there was plenty of storage which helps keep the van tidy and organised. We cannot rave about James and Stan the van enough! James was easily contactable and answered any questions we had from the get go. He was incredibly accommodating where possible with any requests that we had. James called us when Stan was ready and even collected us from the station so we could go through Stan and the paperwork together. The helpfulness didn’t stop there - any questions we had whilst on the road were quickly answered if we couldn’t work it out for ourselves. Stan the van was very comfortable for the 2 of us and easy to use. Lots of storage options and amenities with plates, cutlery, pots and pans, etc. and James provided some bedding too (pillows/sheets/duvets) so we just had to bring ourselves and clothes. Firstly, James was an excellent host. Communication was reliable and speedy and he was able to answer all of our queries that we had, he ever so kindly picked us up from the train station and took us back to his beautiful cottage to complete paper work and collect Eric. Eric (campervan) was perfect, automatic and easy to drive, and had all of the resources and utensils that we would need for our trip. It was clean, along with clean bed sheets and a full tank of gas. We drove from Inverness to Glasgow to Isle of Skye and places in between and Eric held up extremely well! Would highly recommend James and Eric ! I don’t often leave reviews, but the trip I just enjoyed with my wife in Ollie the camper van was so much fun and James was such a great hirer I wanted to let people know. James is a top bloke, excellent communication, very friendly and the van was in great condition with all the essential bits you need included. The hand over was smooth and everything was clearly explained before we set off. James was also really flexible as we needed to pick up the van a bit early to dart up the east coast. The smooth nature of the hire made a great trip even better and I’ve no hesitation in recommending James and Ollie the camper van - plus the NC500 which was fantastic. Luglio 2023

Had a fantastic winter trip with a number of adventures. James is a great providing detailed timely information from the start. Very friendly and helpful responding quickly to all communications. The van was great provided everything I needed being very clean and well maintained. The gas heater was a great in the -5-10 degree temperatures. James also fitted winter tyres and provided a shovel which were essential driving in the snow. This was my first time hiring such a van and all in all was a great experience. Thanks to James (and Ollie) for a fantastic 4 nights campervanning around the incredible West coast. (Ullapool, Sheildaig, Dunvegan, Laggan). This was our first camper van trip and can't recommend it enough. Ollie is easy to drive (even over the spectacular, mildly daunting, Applecross peninsula) and is a comfortable, cosy living space. The weather wasn't great so not much opportunity for outdoor living. The variable weather just adds to the adventure, so don’t let that put you off! James was very helpful in route planning and van hand over etc. All very straightforward and hassle free and we really appreciated the lift back to Inverness station. Thanks. Novembre 2022

Absolutely phenomenal trip to Skye in Stan! Loved every minute. The van was perfect and clean, with all we needed. Great to drive and clearly well maintained, we would 10000% recommend! If I could think of anything, a topper for the bed would have been a real added bonus. Please note that from Inverness airport a £30 taxi is required, we tried the bus but no such luck. Either way fantastic and James was a great person to deal with from start to finish. Very happy campervan-ers! Ottobre 2022

I can't explain how great our experience was with both James and Ollie (Van). James was extremely helpful and kind from start to finish. He made sure everything was explained through out the van and also provided knowledge on the area. Ollie was the perfect steed for us to completed the NC500 and more! The downstairs bed was extremely comfy and all of the features were clean and in great working condition. It had no troubles with the tough roads found through out our trip. James was utterly brilliant. Always super prompt & responsive with comms. We loved “Stan” and can’t wait for more breathtaking Highlands adventures in the future. James has kitted Stan out with love & proper attention to detail. When our original booking with another Goboony provider fell through at the last moment due to unforeseen circumstances on their side, James & Stan stepped gallantly into the breach. Our 11 year-old & dog slept blissfully in the upstairs section while my husband & I were very comfortable down below once we’d ironed out one snag. This being that sleeping directly on the reclining leather seating proved too hard - luckily our son was happy to let us use his mattress topper. We recommended that James provide a topper for upstairs & downstairs & he said he’d action that. Otherwise, perfection! We’ll definitely be back! Agosto 2022

We had an amazing 10 days with Oli in summer 2022. James could not have been more helpful or efficient with the queries we had before travelling, and went above and beyond to make our holiday a success. Oli was a great size for our first campervan hire as a family; just big enough for the four of us (two adults and two kids, 5 and 8), and small enough to feel confident driving around steep hills and tight corners. Pick up was a convenient short taxi ride from Inverness railway station, petrol use was really economical, and the van itself was in great condition. We'll happily hire Oli again. Agosto 2022

We had a great experience renting “Olly” the VW camper rented by James. We took a taxi from Inverness to Dochgarroch where Olly was parked up beside James’s cottage near the visitor centre & embarkation point for Caledonian canal cruises. James explained the in & outs of the camper. Olly was immaculately clean & we definitely got the impression, it was a labour of love for James, renting out his pride and joy. I am very glad we chose Olly than search for a bigger camper. Olly had a small wheel base & managed the narrow roads we found in the North of Scotland with ease, anything bigger would have been a struggle to drive, I would imagine and there was plenty of room inside to chill. The rear seats flattened to make a very comfortable bed & there was the option of another double bed in the roof which could be opened up when stationary but we had no need to use this as we were 2 & not 4 people travelling. On our return, we felt genuinely welcomed back James & after an inspection the paperwork/contract we signed days before was signed off and we left 2 very satisfied customers. Agosto 2022

Ollie was great for our trip recently through the isle of Skye and part of NC500! Versatile, in great condition and for the prices of fuel these days we were impressed with its consumption. Ollie turned out to be ideal and very comfortable for this trip with 4 friends. And we cannot praise James enough for its kind hospitality and support throughout our trip. James was a fantastic person to rent from, with the camper being located just outside Inverness. Pick up was very easy, as was drop off. James is very friendly and chilled, which made the whole experience that much nicer. Ollie was the perfect vehicle for a 5-day trip around the West Coast - immaculate and in great condition. As a couple, the fold down bed was perfect. The two gas hobs, the sink/tap and the fridge all worked very well. The van is the perfect size to fit on some of the smaller, winding roads too. The van drives very well and the diesel tank pretty much covered the whole NC500 on one fill, which was very handy. All in all, we would not hesitate to rent from James again and hope to do so.
