Regarding the damage comment, the hirer returned the motorhome without completing any handover process, shortly after drop off I noticed some minor damage which I didn't realise was pre-existing, I simply asked for a written statement just in case the vehicle had been involved in an accident. Once I studied some pre-hire photos on the computer I realised it was indeed pre-existing, I unreservedly apologised admitting a miss-understanding on my behalf by voicemail, email and text but the hirer chose to ignore me, during these messages I explained the deposit would be returned, I'd already instructed Goboony to return the deposit immediately, unfortunately they experienced payment delays so made the situation worse.
