Security Deposit

The security deposit covers the cost of any loss or damage from any one incident that has occurred to the vehicle whilst it has been on hire. It is authorised at check-in and will be released providing your vehicle is returned in the condition it was received in. Security deposits should be in UK pounds.

In the event of any loss or damage, the hirer is liable for up to the value of this amount. The security deposit is used to fund:
• Any loss or damage to equipment, fixtures, fittings, windows, tyres or negligent damage to the vehicle
• Any road traffic violation administration fees
• Any cleaning fees
• Any refuelling costs
• Any late return fees
• Guests should allow up to 28 days for the security deposit to be released back into their account.
• In the event of an insurance claim, regardless of fault, the security deposit will be retained until the insurers have settled the claim.
