Bertie was an amazing Camper for our trip to Glastonbury and we all loved the fancy features. Paul was incredibly helpful, particularly as this was a very last minute booking, so we were very grateful for the flexibility and advice. The whole process was very smooth and we could not have asked for a better experience. We very much look forward to using Bertie again in the future!

Having rented many campers over the years this was the first time using Goboony. The whole process was seamless including insurance etc. Paul, the owner of Bertie the camper was fantastic from start to finish. Very responsive to my many questions along the way, very accommodating on pick up and drop off times of the van, leaving my car during the holiday on his drive and the items he includes as part of the rental. Would definitely recommend both Paul and Bertie as we had a fantastic trip down to the new forest.

Paul is the perfect host and we just loved staying in Bertie! We picked Paul/ Bertie because of already great reviews and it was exactly that. Amazing communication and handover throughout - including being super flexible when we had to change things from our end quite last minute. Paul was always so helpful and friendly and really went above and beyond with every interaction we had with him both before and during our trip. We spent 3 nights in Dorset in Bertie with our 6 month old baby and dog and Bertie was the perfect adventure for it made so much easier by everything Paul kindly lent us too for the van (chairs, cutlery, charging points etc.). We are already planning our next trip in Bertie and encourage anyone thinking of giving campervan life a go to go for it with Bertie and Paul, couldn’t have been easier or more fun!

We chose Bertie as our first campervan experience and are very glad we did, had a great time. The van is a 'proper' VW California with all the fixtures, also easy to drive with the auto box. Paul is a great host and made the whole experience simple and stress free, especially the handover and documents and also lent us a full cooking set up. Would definitely recommend Paul and Bertie for anyone looking for a van adventure!

What a great van for a great adventure. If you’re thinking of hiring a van, then Bertie the beach is the one. No kitchen, but more sleeping room downstairs, and breakfast cooked under the awning is the way to go! We travelled the length of the UK to climb Ben Nevis, and Bertie was a true delight, with good fuel economy, cruise control, and reverse parking cameras. when we’d gone far enough for the day, a couple of clips released and bedtime! Paul was a great guy to hire from, and was one hand / WhatsApp if there were any questions.

We really enjoyed our travels in Bertie, a 2019 VW California Beach. The van has an automatic DSG gearbox which makes the journey easier. Luckily, Paul was happy for us to bring our toy poodle along with the family. **Beware some other vans owners have restrictions for pets.** Paul made the pick-up and drop-off an easy process. He was very happy to explain how to swivel the seats, raise the pop top, and loaned extra chairs with an outdoor gas cooker and utensils and plates etc. Paul and I had quick and easy communications via the Goboony messaging service. We were first time campervan users.. I highly recommend booking Paul's VW campervan for your holiday!

Bertie was our first campervan adventure and he didn’t disappoint! We had a fabulous weekend celebrating my birthday despite the changeable weather for July 😎☔️💨 Our teenage girls enjoyed sleeping in the top bed and loved the leg space in the back travelling around. Paul made the whole experience run smoothly, thanks again for a memorable weekend.

I can not express how happy i was with not only the T6 Camper but also with Paul. Paul was very contactable before collecting the vehicle provided us with additional equipment which we didn't expect (nothing was too much trouble). The camper was all in very good order and clean, very smooth to drive and easy to use. If i could give 6 stars i would! Thanks for letting us use your camper Paul and allowing us to enjoy are weekend even more. I would highly recommend!

We decided to hire Bertie again this year for our annual mega meet-up with old friends and all our kids. Bertie was perfect. Drives like a dream and has everything you need. The teens love it and i don't think will ever settle for a tent again! Paul is super easy to communicate with and everything went really smoothly. This was the first time we used Goboony, and Bertie was the first campervan we had rented, but we certainly have not regrets. Paul is very easy to deal with and always replied to our messages very promptly. Bertie is so easy to drive, is very comfortable, and we loved him so much we now want our very own Bertie! We did not need much equipment but Paul seems to have everything you may need for your trip away, no matter what you plan to do or where you plan to go. We cannot recommend Paul and Bertie highly enough, and will not hesitate to book with Paul again the next time we go away in a campervan. Thank you Paul, and thank you Bertie for some wonderful holiday memories!

We had an awesome experience hiring Bertie from Paul when our T4 (coincidentally called Gertie!) was off the road. Such a gorgeous van - it’s super comfortable, lovely to drive and kitted out with just about everything you could possibly need… The service we received from Paul was top notch; communication was fast, friendly and helpful. Ten out of ten! :)

We loved our time in Bertie. It’s a lovely camper van, really easy to drive and such fun! There’s loads of space on the bottom double bed and pop top is brilliant. The van was in excellent condition and beautifully clean. Paul was very helpful in the run up to the hire and took great trouble in explaining how everything worked. He also provide lots of extras so there’s no need to worry about remembering extra equipment. We had a great trip and have no hesitation in recommending Bertie

We ❤️ Bertie. He had everything you need on board - seriously - and is a dream to drive. Paul was super communicative and friendly from the start and made it possible for my sons and I to have a wonderful adventure around my time restrictions. Bertie is so easy to drive and comfy and theres so much room for everyone… The boys (who spend the majority of their time arguing) even climbed in the back en route to our canp for a snuggle up under the duvet! Its a 100% recommendation from us and we are looking forwards to the next Bertie Bonanza Adventure. A*
