We had a great trip and enjoyed our first ever motorhome experience. Michael gave us good explanations on how everything works prior to leaving. The MH is older, so has it's own issues, but it got us to Skye and back.

The motorhome owners are kind, but we found several drawbacks in the vehicle that we wish we had been informed about before booking. We were unable to use the shower — there was no hot water. The sockets for charging phones and other devices do not work unless the motorhome is plugged in (except for the dashboard socket, which is not provided by the owner…). This situation forced us to book campsites every night, which significantly increased our holiday budget. The blind by the bed is broken. Several things are patched up with tape, which is unfortunate. Additionally, we had to pay an extra £60 upon arrival for towels and sleeping bags, even though this amount was never mentioned to us beforehand by the owners. To give you an idea, a night in a hotel in Glasgow cost us less than the towel surcharge… In short, it was a low point in a holiday we had saved for a long time to afford. Moreover, after talking with other campers during our trip, we realized that for the same price, it was possible to get vehicles offering much more comfort.

The motorhome was only back from hire that morning you started the hire yourself and there was a few things damaged.
I didn’t have the time to get everything ready so I done a quick fix so that you could enjoy your holiday without cancelling your booking . The parts were on order that morning before you collected it. Bare in mine it’s a 2007 year motorhome it’s not brand new the reason it’s not the same price as new ones .
Regards to the hot water issue. It’s been tested and it is in perfect working order perhaps you did not know how to use it correctly.
The bed linen provided at an extra cost are sleeping bags, sheets, Bath towels, hand towels, shower mats but this is an extra add on.
Most people prefer to bring their own .

We had a great trip and enjoyed the motorhome experience. Michael was really helpful and gave us good explanation on how everything works prior to leaving. Collecting the MH was straightforward, and we were able to leave our car during the trip, free of charge. Thanks!

Pick up and drop off was very good and the owner helpfully brought the motorhome to a wide side street for an easy getaway. Took time to explain all the workings too and was flexible with our pickup time. However didn’t respond to our messages whilst on the hire.
The motorhome itself is functional but a bit tired. It is 17 years old, so no reversing camera or satnav. We had problems with the handbrake and had to endure 3 days of constant beeping which was awful. The water heater was temperamental and the water release valves were stiff to open.
Otherwise all ok.

We felt very fortunate to be able to travel around the highlands with ease and accessibility while having the comfort of having access to our "home".

Wat hebben we heerlijke dagen gehad in de camper! Klein genoeg om makkelijk te kunnen rijden, en groot genoeg om met twee volwassenen en twee kinderen op pad te zijn. Netjes, van alle gemakken voorzien en vriendelijk contact!
