We used Ronnie for 4 weeks spending all this time in Scotland. It is a compact van that has everything you need to live in both free camping and using campsites. The fridge is small but with the use of an esky (chilly bin) for drinks. The bed is transverse so was a little short for my hubby but we made it work. It has a great heater that heats the van within minutes, which runs on gas. The boot space was great to keep our luggage bags in.
Ronnie did not miss a beat and reliability was important to us.
Chris was very responsive if we had questions. Easy hand over and drop off. Would recommend this van especially if you are used to living in a small space.

We had such a good trip away over 4 nights using the campervan. First experience of a campervan trip and Chris couldn’t have been more helpful explaining everything about the van. It is well equipped, easy to drive and comfortable bed too! Although we used sites, it is set up perfectly for off grid camping if preferred. Thanks Chris for all your help. (I got my parents this campervan trip for Christmas and it was the perfect idea I think, my mum and dad loved it and this review is what they had to say about their van!) Thanks Chris

Ronnie was a great van to go around the outer Hebrides for ten days. Chris was a great host and very quick to respond when we asked a question The van is easy to drive with quiet engine and economical The bed is not huge but it is comfortable. The van is well set up for off grid. The garage is huge. To note that the dining table on the photos has been replaced by a coffee table but there is a fold up outside table for meals. We wouldn't hesitate to hire it again if we were planning to do another trip like this one in the future. Thanks Chris!

Our trip with Ronnie was just perfect - everything we imagined and more. Chris was an amazing owner, giving detailed instructions before starting our trip, always answering our questions quickly via WhatsApp and ready to help. The van itself was extremely comfortable, equipped with everything needed for our trip along the NC500: driving was very easy (thanks for the automatic gearbox), heating and cooking was comfortable, and Ronnie's off-grid qualities helped us to travel freely, spending the nights by beaches and beautiful spots. Would 100% recommend hiring with Chris, and if we ever have a chance to return to Scotland, we would definitely hire from him again.

Had an incredible MTB roadtrip with my partner in Ronnie. The van is very pleasant and easy to drive, fully equipped with everything needed for off-grid living, and a really comfortable and cozy space to exist in. Chris is very friendly and was really responsive and helpful in arranging pick up and drop off, explaining how everything works, and answering any questions we had along the way. We also found the provided instruction book to be particularly well put together and guided us through any of the processes we had to follow when they were needed, eliminating all the uncertainty we had as a result of very little prior experience. We would highly recommend Ronnie to anyone looking to hire a campervan and will definitely be booking again. Thanks!

We really enjoyed our recent trip round the NC500. From booking to collecting and returning the van, everything was perfect. Chris was always at the end of the phone if I had a question about something and was super helpful throughout the whole process! Would 100% book again for future trips!

Chris and Maggie were friendly, kind and very helpful. Chris explained everything about the motor home clearly. We loved the motor home it had everything we needed, was easy to drive and everything worked well.
Chris helped us with bus timetables and stored our lost luggage until we returned from travelling, which was very helpful. We would highly recommend the motorhome and Chris and Maggie were the perfect hosts.

The overall experience with Chris and Ronnie was excellent. He was very helpful during the whole trip, answering really fast to any question or doubt we had. The van is perfect for a 4 day trip around Highlands (Skye mostly), it drives really smooth and cand handle any terrain and steep road its presented. We didn't have any issue being off-grid, you may want to keep an eye on the water tank, but it lasts for 3 days without a problem (including two showers per day and doing the dishes). Having warm water was really convinient after a long day hiking and driving. Insulation, both thermal and sound, was superb, we could sleep warm and in silence every night. Just to say something, we missed having a bigger table to have dinner on, but thats just us.

Chris is a great host! has things well organized. available in case of questions and very helpful and friendly. Ronnie the camper was great! Everything you could need is there. Off grid is perfect with this camper. Spent 10 days on the road with this camper, off grid works perfectly, automatic gear so realy nice to drive this van. Highly recommended!

Ronny was a great van! Perfect for off grid. Tons of garage space for our stuff. Duvet/pillows/covers were provided and the usual necessities-pots/pans etc… we took along our pets who loved the experience! Explored Skye & Harris for a week and honestly no need to hook up In that time. The solar panels and LPG catered for all our needs. Chris was very friendly & helpful from the off. Ronny is perfect for adventuring those out of the way places in rural Scotland! Loved it.

My partner and I hired Chris’ camper for a week to travel up to Skye and Harris and couldn’t have been happier with it all.
Brilliant camper, very well laid out with a comfy bed and a very “attention to detail” booklet provided with all the information about the camper so there was no confusion on getting everything working that we needed.
Chris was fantastic at showing us around and had happened to be over in Harris the week before us and gave us a list of nice places to see and camp up. We stayed entirely off grid for the whole trip and had no issues throughout.
Would highly recommend this camper to anybody looking to hire around Scotland. 10/10

Wonderful campervan, it has it all! The kitchen area is well equipped and apt to the purpose, with appreciated touches of thoughtfulness (box of spices, supply of instant coffee and tea bags) - only a drying rack is missing. The bed is super comfy, two averagely tall people (1.80m) can fit without problems. The hot shower is something to be grateful for when outside looks rough. Several closets have been added to organise most of your belongings and there's a huge back storage unit too, although this one cannot be accessed from the interior of the vehicle (back door only). Surprisingly easy to drive around despite its sizing, Chris' campervan makes you feel like taking your tiny home wherever you go. Functional, pampering, ready for adventures. Class!
