Pete and Jennifier were great with the handover. Pete showed us everything we needed to know and even noticed I had a CPAP but no 12v. He lent me his power pack, which I much appreciated, even though I only used it twice in a month, but it would have been a nightmare without. We travelled through France to northern Spain, down to Porto, followed the Douro river through to Spain up through Spain over and through the Pyrenees Somport tunnel. To the Dordogne, where we had a pitch right on the river with limestone cliffs on the opposite bank. Then up through the middle of France back to St Malo. The Motorhome had all we needed as we were in Europe, and the gas bottles are different so we were a bit conservative with the use of the gas; it did last with some left over. Maybe we should have taken an electric kettle, as we had electric hookups most nights. There were only two of us in the motorhome, which gave us plenty of room on the one occasion we had a small problem. Pete and Jenifer, with the aid of texting and WhatsApp, communicated with us within a minute of us contacting them, which made us feel well supported. Ottobre 2025
