Abbiamo avuto un problema durante l'assunzione e Warren è stato molto disponibile nel cercare di risolverlo. Ritiro molto semplice, Warren sarebbe stato al lavoro, ma mi ha dato istruzioni chiare su come ritirare Cyril e non ci sono stati problemi. Il letto era comodo, anche se se siete alti più di 1,80 m potreste avere qualche difficoltà con la lunghezza. Siamo rimasti a Cyril da venerdì a lunedì e, con soli 10 minuti di carica al giorno, la batteria di servizio ha durato tutto il tempo senza problemi. Era molto "retrò", quindi se è questo che cercate, siete fortunati! È stato davvero divertente. Molti video su Youtube spiegano nel dettaglio come installare e utilizzare determinate parti del furgone. Siamo andati a un festival a Cyril e, ovviamente, essendo l'Inghilterra, pioveva e c'era molto vento. Ero COSÌ felice che avessimo deciso di affittare Cyril, eravamo belli e comodi. Mi dispiaceva molto per quelli nelle tende! Il piano cottura e la griglia funzionavano bene, siamo riusciti a cucinare una frittura e ne siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti! È stato davvero divertente guidarlo, era da un po' che non guidavo un veicolo con lo starter! Tantissimi spazi di stoccaggio per un piccolo furgone! Il frigorifero funzionava molto bene, teneva tutto molto freddo. Era un po' sporco lì dentro, ma non ha impedito che funzionasse bene. A bordo ci sono alcuni prodotti essenziali, bustine di tè ecc. Noi non ne abbiamo usato nessuno, ma è davvero bello che ci siano nel caso in cui qualcuno si trovi a corto di scorte. Contro L'annuncio dice lusso, probabilmente lo era quando era più nuovo, ma sicuramente non ora! Anche se è comunque molto più lussuoso di una tenda!! Il problema che ho menzionato sopra era che non riuscivamo a far funzionare l'acqua, Warren è stato davvero d'aiuto, ma sfortunatamente ciò significava che il mio compagno doveva comunque succhiare l'acqua dal rubinetto finché non usciva, cosa che non gli piaceva molto! Alla fine l'acqua è uscita, ma era solo una goccia, quindi era difficile fare la doccia. La stanza della doccia è minuscola, quindi se siete una persona più grande avrete difficoltà. Io ero ok, ma ce ne sono altri che potrebbero non esserlo. Detto questo, è stato comunque bello avere accesso a una doccia! Alcuni video su Youtube sono piuttosto confusi, soprattutto quello in cui si rifa il letto, perché Warren ha provato a farlo tenendo la telecamera in mano, quindi non si vede molto del procedimento, ma io ci sono riuscito! Alcune parti del furgone erano belle e pulite, altre no. Le tapparelle non funzionavano benissimo, credo fossero quelle originali e si stavano un po' sgretolando, quindi ero restio a toccarle per paura che si rompessero del tutto! I freni non sono per niente buoni, bisogna premere molto forte per fermarsi. Ci sono alcuni pezzi rotti/mancanti, il che è del tutto normale data l'età, ma immagino che se fosse il mio furgone li riparerei o li sostituirei. Potrebbe però andare contro l'atmosfera retrò, che Warren potrebbe essere desideroso di mantenere. Tutto sommato, utilizzeremo sicuramente di nuovo Cyril! Abbiamo trascorso un weekend fantastico! Great camper. Everything I needed for my trip and once I got my head around the gas fridge etc… as I was completely new to camper hire and a few odd calls to Warren who was VERY helpful. I had a great time. My review was VERY delayed because I’m a little all over the place 😂🙏I loved being able to store my car safely for the duration which is a massive plus for me as I travel alone. I had a marvellous adventure on Cyril! He has everything you’d need for a comfy road trip camping holiday, neatly and tidily at hands reach and in such good condition. For 30 years old, Cyril is still as handsome as ever 🤭 and all his moving parts work a treat. Considering his size, lots of cute features, quite a lot of storage space and lots of light and headroom. And it’s so easy to book through Goboony and Warren and Jacqui have some really useful videos that explain all his features. A success trip all round! Many thanks Agosto 2023

Cyril was an absolute joy. After an initial ten or so minutes getting our bearings on the driving side of things, we got on our way and had a fab 4 nights. He’s an old boy but very well equipped and everything worked like a dream. We both showered daily, the fridge kept everything cool. The cooker everything we needed, the hot water system very efficient and the bed compact but very comfortable. We had great a nights sleep every night. We very much hope to use him again in the future! Warren and Jacqui were great communicators and provide videos to explain how everything worked. Overall we had a great experience. My daughter and I spent three nights in Cyril, wild camping. We picked Cyril up with clear instructions on access to the pickup point, but there were no instructions on how to work the facilities. Maybe if we had been parked at a campsite, we could have just plugged in, but we only managed to work the gas for the cooker off-grid. I didn't know how to turn the pump on for the water or the heater. We also had trouble arranging the bed, which was very uncomfortable. My daughter is a bit taller than I am and could not stretch her legs out on what is described as a king size bed. In the itinerary it mentioned linens, all we found was an uninviting mattress cover and a not so clean sheet! I am pleased we took some sleeping bags. Driving Cyril was an experience! Our first issue was not being able to close the drivers-side door, it took some slamming to finally get it to latch shut. Then while driving down the country lanes the side door flew open and my daughter had to hold onto it while I found a safe place to pull over and then spend five minutes trying to get that door to latch shut. We tried not to use those doors again! You have to double-clutch 1st, 2nd and reverse gears. It made getting back into my 30year old van (with no power steering) feel like driving a Tesla. I am happy to say we didn't drive far away from the pickup point, but finding a petrol station on the way back that had a vacuum to clean out the back was problematic. During our search for a vacuum, someone bumped into Cyril and knocked his back bumper off so we gave up and suffered the cleaning costs. Warren was very good about the bumper, and replaced it himself. But I was a little dismayed by their cleaning practices, (especially in these days) as they clearly do not venture to a deep clean between guests, if they had, they would have found the items that they said were missing. Obviously they were found with closer inspection. Maggio 2023

Jacqui was an excellent host. She was available for questions and concerns throughout our trip and provided clear instructions via video. As a novice campervan user I was a little nervous especially going back to using a manual. Cyril is 100% retro and a challenge but what an adventure. By the end of our 6 day trip I had mastered Cyril, he managed every challenging hill/ mountain and I was a little sad to hand him back. We covered about 700 miles over the 6 days, showered, ate and slept in him. He provided everything we needed for 2 adults and 2 dogs(although very snug), would I do it again YES 100%. There is a Decent CD player, essential to make the experience through Wales authentic with Tom Jones blasting out. Thank you Jacqui for holiday I shall never forget.
