The Hand over was very smooth, Gerry was quite experienced in the process and I was a newbie. Gerry was able to answer all of my questions and made me feel at ease as this was my first motorhome experience, although somewhat similar to boating as I owed a river cabin cruiser, ie, the cookerfridge, & toilet cassette. My 14 year old son and I went to Black Knowl Club Campsite down by Brockenhurst which was a very tidy and extremely well kept campsite. The campsite was only a little over an hour away South from the location of the Motrorhome. Being a Sunlight S69L motorhome it was quite easy to handle. I have been doing research on motorhomes and am very interested in one day buying a used one to explore in. I thought renting one would be a great first step and it was a great experience for my son and I, it took us away from the everyday routine and husssle. Gerry has gone through a lot of detail in consideration for his renters as everything seemed to be onboard to maintain the motorhome. Gerry also had a number of short youtube videos to watch to help familiarise me with the general operation of the motorhome beforehand. All in all we had a great experience with Gerrys motorhome and I think Gerry is a genuine good person to do business with, thank you ver so much buddy, Leroy & Archie.

We loved our time with Gerry's motorhome, only issue was that we didn't want to come home! It had everything we needed & more, loads of storage & a huge garage for our kit. Everything was really easy & quick to set up on site, ideal if you're a newbie (just as Gerry had explained & he's done some helpful videos, if you did have any issues), so we could chill with a drink in no time. We all slept really well in the comfy motorhome & Gerry was really helpful too with any questions, we look forward to hiring again!

Wij hebben -oprecht- nog nooit zo’n betrokken, vriendelijke betrouwbare en vooral behulpzame verhuurder getroffen als Gerry is. Wat een aardige en relaxte man is dat zeg! Hij is gemakkelijk te bereiken, of neemt heel snel contact met je op wanneer je hem belt of appt en hijzelf op dat moment even niet in de gelegenheid is om op te nemen. Ook is de tijd van overdracht voor ophalen/terugbrengen van de camper mega flexibel. Belangrijk is wel dit op tijd te doen omdat Gerry zelf de tijd moet krijgen om naar de camper-opslag toe te rijden. Hij woont er drie kwartier van af. Hij nam -ondanks dat wij vertraging hadden door files- alle tijd voor de uitleg (deze is tevens heel uitgebreid en wanneer je voor het eerst per camper vakantie wil vieren ook best overweldigend) Via Goboony/Gerry kun je YouTube filmpjes bekijken, deze verduidelijken al veel vooraf. Dus echt een aanrader. Ook is het wijs om -wat wij dus hadden móeten doen - e.e.a. van de aanwijzingen gelijk te noteren wanneer Gerry het uitlegt. Wij konden niet alles tot ons nemen doordat we moe en verreist waren én omdat het simpelweg ook veel was. Dus dan zoek je je later helemaal ongans. Vandaar die filmpjes ook. Die kun je ten alle tijden terugkijken. Ook ligt er een heel handig instructieboek in de camper trouwens. Prima te gebruiken. Gerrie zijn camper is super! Schoon, heel netjes en van alle gemakken voorzien. Je komt niets tekort. Aan praktisch alles is gedacht. Van toiletpapier tot keuken schoonmaak spullen…. Het is allemaal aanwezig. En ook genoeg. Wijzelf hadden beddengoed meegenomen omdat je toch het liefst je eigen spullen bij je hebt. Vergeet niet ook kussens/dekbed mee te nemen. Alles in de camper doet het en is goed te gebruiken. Zelfs een losse accu om mobiel e.d. op te laden wanneer de camper stil staat. Wij hebben rond getoerd in Zuid Engeland. Eén aanrader! Gestaan op hele gave campsides(campings) zo uitkijkend over zee. Máchtig mooi! En nog een voordeel van ‘camperen’: Dat je op ieder plekje, waar je ook bent, je huisje mee hebt. Zalig! Je komt op een mooi plekje, stopt je camper, stoeltjes ( heel comfortabel) buiten met tafels erbij. Staat in een mum. Koffie, broodje erbij en Genieten!! Ow, nog eventjes om te vermelden: de mensen daar, waar we ook kwamen, zijn zo enorm behulpzaam en aardig, wanneer je de weg wil weten ergens naartoe, of een camping zoekt, gewoon vragen. We hebben zoveel hulp gekregen. Eén dikke pluim voor de mensen daar.

Gerry's customer service was great but unfortunately the vehicle was not in a fit state for rental. The battery was disconnected due to some rust and the result was a breakdown which took several attempts to resolve. There were a few other small issues with the vehicle too which hadn't been picked up during maintenance checks

I'm really sorry that Chantelle's booking was disrupted due to an unexpected mechanical issue that couldn't have been anticipated. We have a strong system in place for situations like this, which involves reaching out to our roadside assistance partner to handle any breakdowns. Unfortunately, the process wasn't followed as it should have been this time.
To make things right, I arranged for a second callout which should have been made by the hirer (as explained during the induction and covered in our manual) and thankfully, the problem was fully resolved in about 40 minutes.
In retrospect, I did my best to support Chantelle throughout the weekend, taking on tasks that normally wouldn't be expected of me in similar situations. My goal has always been to resolve these issues quickly, amicably, and fairly, within the limits of what I can do.

An excellent camper and Gerry was brilliant. We had a slight issue in the journey which Gerry was all over to get sorted. It was a fantastic experience as our first camper trip and we will definitely do it again and would definitely go to Gerry for the rental. Thank you so much.

The camper van was in great condition and very well equipped. Gerry was very attentive and explained everything perfectly.
We drove from The Jurassic coast to the the Cotswolds, Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District. We had an amazing trip.

We rented Gerry’s camper van to attend Badminton Horse Trials. Pick up and handover was smooth and thorough with the camper van handed over in immaculate condition, fully fuelled, watered and gassed up. Everything you would want is provided including very comfy camping chairs. Operating the camper van is easy and we effectively lived off grid for 4 days with no issues. The return was smooth and easy and I would recommend Gerry’s camper van to anyone. Great service.

Gerry was superb to deal with and his camper van is fantastic. Beautifully maintained and presented with a full range of camping chairs, cricket and badminton set, fully equipped kitchen etc. Simply could not wish for more, excellent personal service and quality of vehicle, can’t recommend highly enough 👌😎

The Motorhome is lovely as described, with a fantastic briefing on how she works when collecting her from the owner.
She comes with a good range of equipment for wild camping including options for filling her up with water & emptying her etc, very comfy camping chairs, picnic tables & a good charcoal bbq which were all clean as was the Motorhome throughout & it was very well equipped with a good variety of cutlery, utensils, plates, cups & glasses etc.
The oven, hob ard gas & good & the fridge freezer is of a very good size.
The 2 beds are comfortable as well.
She is easy to drive for her size & the sat nav is good also.
She proves that wild camping is possible still having all of the home comforts which is what we wanted to find out as this was our 1st Motorhome experience.

This was our first ever motorhome trip. The hiring and return process were so smooth.
Gerry is very friendly, professional and considerate owner. He is patient, gave a detailed demo on everything on the motorhome answering all our questions. That gave the confidence to handle the vehicle. The best part is you almost have everything for a holiday, bbq, chair, table, play kits etc. you just need your clothes and groceries for cooking (if you do). The motorhome was very clean and in great condition.
The motorhome will come with a very handy instruction booklet which details everything you need to do with the motorhome. Overall we had a great trip and would definitely hire from Comfy travelling again.

The Motorhome was fairly new, clean and in great condition. Gerry was very professional throughout and has clearly put a lot of thought into making his Customers feel at home with some lovely touches which ensure they have the best experience possible. He was so patient and fully explained everything, which really helped prepare us for what was our first Motorhome holiday. This was accompanied by an illustrated instruction book, that really helped us on a few occasions. Will definitely look to renting from Gerry again.

Our motorhome experience was excellent. Prior to our hire Gerry, the owner's, friendly and regular communication with us reassured us that we had chosen the right person to hire the van from. Gerry clearly takes great pride in his motorhome. The van was spotlessly clean and beautifully equipped. Gerry spent a lot of time taking us round the van and explaining all the features as well as giving us lots of advice as first time motor homers. He also provides an excellent instruction book covering all aspects of using the motorhome. Gerry''s motorhome is top of the range with a lovely comfortable fixed bed and a very good separate shower which meant we didn't have to use the less than satisfactory facilities on the campsite. We cannot recommend Gerry's van highly enough and we have now decided to purchase our own as a result of such a positive experience. Thank you Gerry!

We had a fantastic trip in Gerry’s RV - he was super accommodating to our needs and plans, and took great time and care to show us how to use and make the most out of the motor home.
The van was brilliant, modern, clean and had all the equipment you’d ever need for a trip off grid!

We had a lovely family holiday travelling around South Wales in this Motor home. Gerry's communication was 1st class and he could not have done more to help us get set up for our trip. I would highly recommend.

We were new to using a motorhome but our experience could not have been easier or better from start to finish.
Gerry was incredibly helpful, promptly answering any questions, no matter how small, before we went.
I can definitely recommend this wonderful motorhome. It was so well equipped with everything you could think of - all equipment appeared brand new. Gerry was very knowledgeable about his van and did a comprehensive run through of all the equipment and processes we needed to use in the van. He also gave us some useful tips about security and what we would need to think about if we wanted to wild camp.
A very thoughtful touch was a welcome pack of tea, coffee, biscuits and lovely toiletries left for us.
There were two of us in the van and we found it roomy and easy to operate. The heating and hot water was efficient and quick to come on. A freezer and good sized fridge meant we didn’t need to shop daily. The bed was a good size and very comfy. There was plenty of storage.
We really enjoyed our first motorhome experience and Gerry was the perfect host. We will definitely use Gerry’s van for future trips.

We have just returned from our first Motorhome holiday to Scotland. The process from start to finish could not have been easier.
Our host Gerry was so helpful with the hiring process and answering any questions we had. The Motorhome was immaculate when we picked her up and came fully kitted out with everything we needed, Gerry even supplied a welcome gift of treats, consisting of tea, coffee, snacks & toiletries.
There were two adults and two 14 year olds in our party, and we all had ample room.
We will definitely be hiring Gerry’s van again for future trips.
